Personally, I feel that the review process in the field of fuel cells and electrocatalytic energy is relatively fast (results were obtained in 10 days for the first submission), and the reviewers are quite professional, providing detailed comments (requesting citation of high-impact journals from prominent research groups). Additionally, the editor assigned to handle the manuscript is the chief editor. Initially, I thought the handling time would be slow, but overall it has been quite fast. Furthermore, there seems to be a significant increase in submissions this year, as by April 21st, the submission number had already reached 900. There are more accepted manuscripts, although the impact factor has slightly decreased this year. However, the overall quality of articles from the latest 2021-2022 period still seems good, and I am hopeful for a recovery in the future.

Submission on October 5, 2022. The review process lasted for three months. The first reviewer took one month, and it seemed like there were no reviewers afterwards, causing a long delay.

On January 20, 2023, the editor's comments were returned. Minor revisions were required, and both reviewers had positive feedback. One reviewer was particularly sharp and gave one month for revisions.

On February 7, 2023, a small amount of experimentation was added, and a significant amount of literature was reviewed. The revised manuscript was sent back for further comments.

On February 19, 2023, all three reviewers completed their evaluations, and the feedback was satisfactory.

On February 20, 2023, the editor accepted the manuscript directly.

Overall, the waiting process in between was really anxious. It took a long time to find reviewers during the first three months. In December, I couldn't resist and sent a reminder to the editor, but they didn't respond. Fortunately, it was ultimately accepted. Good luck to everyone!
