Description

According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) data for 2018; population of Turkey is 82.003.882 and 19.247.865 (23,5%) of it are young people aged between 15 and 29. The youth unemployment rate in the 15-24 age group is 20,3%. This rate is almost twice more than the total unemployment rate that is 11%. Beyond this rate, another indicator- so called as NEET reflects the labour market participation and social conditions of the youth.
