Commented on Engineering Technology & Applied Science Research
Engineering, Technology & Applied Science Research (ETASR)  mainly publishes technical papers that should contain new theoretical and/or test results but will also consider for publication review articles. ETASR publishes original papers in various fields of Applied Science, Technology and Engineering that include, but are not limited to, the following areas: Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation and Control, Measurement and Metrology, Signal Processing, Telecommunications, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology and Informatics, Data Engineering and Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering and Medical Physics. The journal is published bimonthly. The first issue of every year is published in February. Accepted papers will be published as soon as possible (possibly in the following issue). A final decision about each submitted paper will be reached within four weeks. An added time of 2-4 weeks should be considered for each additional review round.

Commented on AI-enabled proactive mHealth with automated decision-making
This poster aims to build proactive mHealth with AI capabilities to predict and avert a situation as soon as possible. Predictive analytics-powered automated decision-making supports users in making quick, correct decisions. A customized system that takes into account each user's individuality. The key accomplishment is the creation of a fundamental foundation for proactive mHealth. Predictive analytics-based automated decision-making will be at the heart of such a system. Finding data sources and using accurate AI techniques are part of this.

Commented on Enhancing MOOC learners’ skills for self-directed learning
This study was the first phase of investigating strategies to facilitate self-management skills for Self-directed learning (SDL) . The findings of this study will be beneficial to support learners’ self-management not only in MOOCs but also in general online education. Further research on the enactment of learning goals, time management, resources management, and user experience design to better navigate MOOCs is needed.

Commented on AI search tools ChatGPT v.s. Bard
The launch of GPT-4 shows that it is an incredible and transformative technology.  It can build basic websites. “Generative AI,” which can build words or images based on a user’s prompt, has been all the rage in Silicon Valley for months. GPT-4 introduces “website-building” into the mix. It can describe images in detail. One of the most dramatic differences between ChatGPT and its successor is its ability to depict images with text. GPT-4 can determine the content in a photo or picture and analyze the objects within it to make predictions and provide a broader context. https://nymag.com/intelligencer/2023/03/5-incredible-frightening-things-gpt-4-can-do.html

Poster

Commented on Designing highly reliable systems using random devices
This very strong, visually appealing poster shows the neurons are excellent instances of efficiency since they have exceptional communication reliabilities despite using completely random ion channels. The authors demonstrate how to establish a link between biology and circuit design.

Poster

Commented on Hand written digits classification and recognition using convolutional neural networks by implementing the techniques of MLP and SVM
The poster describes how the Deep Learning Convoluting Neural Network (CNN) can be used for handwritten digital pattern recognition and data classification. Authors have developed a multi-layered perceptron (MLP) and support vector machine (SVM) to support CNN to recognize and classify handwritten digits.

Student mobility – How to bridge the research-practice gap The work is part of ENIS, funded by the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST). This brings together an international team of more than 180 experienced researchers, early-career investigators and stakeholders across Europe and wider. The aim is to improve our understanding and knowledge about what works best in international student mobility (ISM) . Having access to better data – with the survey adding to what we know – is a vital element of its work. https://www.universityworldnews.com/post.php?story=20230315065444785
