Summary: This paper proposes a medical image watermarking scheme on FPGA using Pullikolam. The scheme involves LUT formation, pixel localization, and LSB substitution. The data hiding strategy utilizes on-chip embedded memory. The proposed architecture is implemented on EP4CE115F29C7 FPGA and achieves high efficiency with low MSE and high NCC.

Summary: This paper examines the relationship and mechanism between stock price crash risk and debt financing cost using corporate bonds issued by Chinese A-share listed companies from 2011 to 2021 as a sample. The study finds that an increase in stock price crash risk significantly raises the credit spread and issue size of corporate bond issuance, while it does not have a significant impact on the expected probability of default and Z-value.

Summary: The study found that there is a positive relationship between family control and the cost of equity in family firms, while increasing information transparency weakens the impact of family control on the cost of equity. Additionally, the negative effect of information transparency on the cost of equity weakens when the control-ownership wedge is high.

Summary: This study examines the information transparency of Egyptian medical colleges' websites regarding their accreditation process. The results show that only thirteen colleges registered their credentials on their websites, and the available information about the process, dates, and documents was very limited. This suggests that medical schools need to take steps to encourage and ensure transparency towards institutional accreditation.

Summary: This article uses the analogy of the three Christmas ghosts to guide readers through the past, present, and future of medical AI. It highlights the reliance on opaque models in modern machine learning and discusses the implications for transparency in healthcare. The article argues that opaque models lack quality assurance, trust, and hinder physician-patient dialogue, and suggests upholding transparency in model design and validation to ensure the success of medical AI.

Summary: This study used a commercial database to investigate the price variation of transthoracic echocardiography (TTE). The results showed that self-pay and commercial TTE prices were higher than Medicare prices and varied significantly within and across hospitals. For-profit, teaching, and higher-rated hospitals charged higher prices, while rural referral centers and disproportionate share hospitals charged less. Evaluating the relationship between this price variation and quality of care is critical for ensuring healthcare access and affordability.
