Summary: This study found that adding FSH/testosterone to the culture medium can promote the differentiation and maturation of germ cells, and co-culturing with healthy SCs does not provide additional benefits. Additionally, the freezing-thawing process does not affect the viability and proliferation of SCs.

Summary: The study found that RA, as a Fyn inhibitor, has anti-tumor effects in U251 and U343 glioma cells, significantly suppressing cell proliferation, migration, and invasion, and inducing apoptosis. Additionally, RA exerts its cytotoxicity by modulating the PI3K/Akt/NF-kappa B signaling pathway.

Summary: Rosmarinic acid-loaded silk fibroin nanoparticles (RA-SFNs) exhibit rapid drug release under physiological conditions and show significant antitumor activity against human cervical carcinoma and breast cancer cell lines. Additionally, RA-SFNs increase cellular uptake, inhibit cell proliferation, and induce apoptosis in cancer cells.

Summary: The study demonstrated that Rosmarinic acid (RA) significantly reduced cell viability, migration, invasion, and increased apoptosis in melanoma cells. This effect may rely on inhibiting the expression of the ADAM17/EGFR/AKT/GSK3 beta axis, suggesting a potential anti-cancer property of RA.

Summary: The study demonstrated that MCLR induced an increase in Ca2+ concentration in TM4 cells, leading to activation of apoptotic pathways. The use of the Ca2+ chelator Bapta-AM partially reversed MCLR-induced apoptosis, confirming the involvement of calcium homeostasis disruption. Additionally, MCLR activated the ER apoptotic pathway by activating caspase-12.

Summary: This study demonstrates that esterification is a promising approach to enhance the in vivo bioavailability of rosmarinic acid in rats and the in vitro biological activity in rat vascular smooth muscle cells. The optimal alkyl chain length for esterification is between C1 and C4, while longer alkyl chains may lead to cytotoxicity.

Summary: The study aimed to develop and validate a nomogram combining PIRADS scores and clinical data to predict the probability of prostate cancer detection in men. Results showed that the nomogram, named SPCC, provided stronger predictive accuracy than using PSA density or PIRADS alone, with robust AUC values in external validation.

Summary: The study found that progression on serial mpMRI is not associated with pathological upgrade in men with GG1 PCa on active surveillance. However, a high initial PI-RADS score on mpMRI is predictive of subsequent pathological progression. Both systematic and fusion biopsies are necessary to monitor progression during active surveillance.
