Summary: This paper examines the impact of the digital economy on urban low-carbon sustainable development, finding that boosting the digital economy can effectively promote such development, with innovation factor mobility being the critical transmission channel. Spatial and temporal heterogeneity exist in the effects of the digital economy and innovation factor mobility on urban low-carbon sustainable development in different regions. Additionally, the impact of the digital economy on urban low-carbon sustainable development becomes stronger with the increase in economic development level.

Summary: This paper proposes a new method of two-step geometric average to measure green transition and constructs a comprehensive framework on the relationship between sustainability and coordination via the propelling force of green transition at national and provincial levels. The study concludes that green transition can contribute to regional economic growth at the national level in China and to the coordinated development of regional economies at the provincial level. It also demonstrates non-linear 'U-shaped' relationships between green transition and regional economy in Asia and the eastern region of China, as well as the spillover effect of technological innovation on regional development.

Summary: This paper explores the impact and mechanism analysis of government sports public expenditure on regional sustainable development from the perspective of sports economic development. The study found that the government's increase in public expenditure on sports can significantly promote regional sustainable development and improve the level of regional green and coordinated development. Additionally, the development level of market finance is also an important driving factor for the government's public expenditure on sports to improve the level of sustainable development in the region.

However, as the level of STI improves, the overall role of financial development in promoting HED diminishes. Therefore, the government should prioritize improving the efficiency and structure of financial development and promoting effective collaboration between financial development and STI to achieve high-quality economic development.

The findings show that collaborative agglomeration has a positive effect on improving regional green development efficiency, with technological innovation playing a key role in driving this relationship. There is also regional heterogeneity in the impact of collaborative agglomeration on green development efficiency.

Summary: This research proposes the concept of a hydrogen valley in southern Italy, where hydrogen is produced centrally and delivered via fuel cell hybrid trains to refueling stations, providing transportation services. The analysis from both technical and economic perspectives shows that the cost of hydrogen and energy efficiency reached competitive levels, and hydrogen rail transport offers significant benefits in terms of emissions reduction and economic gains compared to conventional diesel trains and fully electric trains.

However, limited land availability and competition for solar resources pose challenges to resource generation technologies. In the United States, both agriculture and solar energy production have adopted densification schemes to improve yields and energy output per unit of land. This research proposes an Agrivoltaic food and energy coproduction architecture that optimizes power generation while maintaining crop productivity by implementing ideal anti-tracking during critical growth periods. This technology offers a viable pathway for widespread solar implementation throughout the contiguous United States.
