Based on the extended zero curvature equation, a (3+1)-dimensional nonlinear Schrodinger equation with time variable coefficients is proposed. This model has significant implications in dispersion and nonlinearity managed fiber laser. Soliton solutions and triangle function solutions of this equation are derived by making four different assumptions, and it is found that both amplitude and wave speed are related to the time-dependent coefficients.
Based on the extended zero curvature equation, we proposed a (3+1)-dimensional nonlinear Schrodinger equation with time variable coefficients. This model has important application in the dispersion and nonlinearity managed fiber laser. In this paper, taking advantage of four different assumptions, soliton solutions and triangle function solutions of (3+1)-dimensional nonlinear Schrodinger equation with time variable coefficients are derived. Both amplitude and wave speed are found to be related to time-dependent coefficients.
