Summary: ChatGPT's potential in neurosurgery is limited, with shallow and repetitive responses lacking personalization. It struggles to discern a patient's emotional state and is influenced by technical and cultural factors in medical language. Its inability to conduct physical examinations and interpret diagnostic images limits its practical utility.

Summary: This paper discusses the use of Artificial Intelligence Chatbot in scientific writing, with a focus on ChatGPT, a chatbot developed by OpenAI. ChatGPT utilizes the GPT language model to understand and respond to natural language inputs. AI chatbots, including ChatGPT, are valuable tools in scientific writing, assisting researchers in material organization, draft generation, and proofreading. However, ethical concerns regarding plagiarism, accuracy, and accessibility imbalances need to be addressed, and a consensus on regulating the use of chatbots in scientific writing is necessary.

Summary: Chatbot Generative Pre-trained Transformer (ChatGPT), a new AI model, has garnered significant attention for its ability to process and respond to commands in a humanistic fashion. Reports indicate that within five days of its launch, ChatGPT had over one million registered users, and two months later, it exceeded 100 million monthly active users, making it the fastest-growing consumer application in history. The emergence of ChatGPT has sparked new ideas and challenges in the field of infectious disease. To assess its potential use in clinical practice and scientific research, an online survey was conducted using the publicly available ChatGPT webpage. Additionally, this study addresses relevant social and ethical issues associated with the program.

Summary: This study investigates the impact of anthropomorphizing chatbots on transaction conversion rates. Findings suggest that anthropomorphism is beneficial for transaction outcomes in a retail setting, but also leads to increased sensitivity to offers. Moreover, consumers may shift to a fairness evaluation or negotiating mindset when interacting with more human-like chatbots.

Summary: This paper critically reviews the ethical issues raised by the emergence of mental health chatbots. Chatbots, which use varying degrees of artificial intelligence, are increasingly being used in various domains, including mental health. While the technology can be beneficial in terms of access to mental health information and services, it also raises ethical concerns, especially for individuals with mental ill-health. The paper identifies and examines four important ethical issues using a recognized ethical framework and provides recommendations for the ethical creation and deployment of chatbots for mental health, targeting designers, purveyors, researchers, and practitioners.

Summary: According to industry reports, AI-based chatbots have the potential to revolutionize online customer service. However, the lack of consumer trust and acceptance remains a concern. Limited research exists on the drivers and consequences of trust in AI-based chatbots. Therefore, a study was conducted to identify the factors influencing consumers' trust in text-based customer service chatbots and examine the impact of trust on behavioral intentions. The findings revealed that conversational cues, perceived functional and social attributes, and personal disposition to trust technology all play a role in trust formation. Trust, in turn, influences behavioral intentions. Interestingly, privacy risk was found to be an insignificant predictor of trust. The study offers insights into improving trust and suggests areas for future research.
