Summary: The study focused on isolating and identifying three indigenous microalgae species with high growth performance from Setiu wetlands, Terengganu, Malaysia, namely Chlorella vulgaris, Tetraselmis chuii, and Isochrysis galbana, over a 16-day culture period. These microalgae exhibited the highest optical density and specific growth rate, as well as fluorescence intensity for lipid, carotenoid, and chlorophyll a content. Salinity variations were found to significantly impact the growth and biochemical composition of these microalgae species.

Summary: This study demonstrates the bioactivity of polysaccharides extracted from Dendrobium officinale leaf (DOLP) in immune deficiency mice. DOLP improves immune status by restoring gut barrier and reducing immune organ atrophy. It also regulates cytokine levels by inhibiting pro-inflammatory cytokines and promoting anti-inflammatory cytokines. Furthermore, DOLP can modulate gut microbiota composition.

Summary: This study examined the supplementation of dried bioflocs for red hybrid tilapia. The results showed that adding 4% freeze-dried or oven-dried bioflocs had little impact on fish growth and water quality, while adding 16% bioflocs resulted in poor growth performance and water quality. Additionally, tilapia fed with 4% dried bioflocs had better nutritional value.

Summary: In this paper, a non-stationary 3-D GBSM vehicle-to-vehicle channel model is proposed in the tunnel environment based on massive multiple-input multiple-output antenna arrays. The model uses spherical wavefront assumptions and investigates the transmission characteristics in a high-speed-train environment. Expressions for delay spread, Doppler power spectrum density, temporal cross-correlation function, and channel capacity are derived and various model parameters are examined. The proposed model's adaptability and effectiveness are verified through measurements, simulations, and analytical results.

Summary: The aim of this study was to observe the level of heavy metals (Pb, Fe, Cu, Cd, Cr) in various tissues of Decapterus macarellus collected from the Karachi and Gwadar coasts of Pakistan. The results showed that all metals, except for Cd and Cr, were within permissible limits. The Karachi environment was found to be more polluted than the Gwadar environment, and consuming muscles from this species was deemed safe for human health.

Summary: Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping next-generation infrastructures through intelligent and adaptive radio systems. This paper proposes an efficient resource prediction framework (ERPF) to provide proactive knowledge about radio resources' availability in software-defined heterogeneous radio environmental infrastructures (SD-HREIs). The framework utilizes clustering algorithms and machine learning techniques to predict radio occupancy and opportunity. The performance of the proposed methods is validated through cross-validation metrics.

Summary: In this manuscript, an alternating optimization framework is proposed to maximize the energy efficiency of a backscatter-enabled cooperative NOMA system. The framework considers the transmit power, power allocation coefficients, and relay power under imperfect successive interference cancellation decoding. A low-complexity energy-efficient algorithm is introduced to optimize the transmit power, PAC, and relay power, taking into account the quality of service, power budget, and cooperation constraints. Additionally, a joint channel coding framework is introduced to enhance the performance of far user with bad channel conditions.

The results showed that yellowfin snapper samples from Brunei Darussalam and eastern Peninsular Malaysia were genetically similar, with higher genetic diversity in Brunei Darussalam. These samples also exhibited signatures of population expansion and lacked spatial genetic structure. In contrast, Lutjanus lutjanus showed a population structure associated with geographical locations.

Summary: This paper proposes a new optimization scheme to enhance the spectral efficiency in a multi-cell RIS-NOMA network under SIC decoding errors. The original problem is decoupled into two sub-problems, power allocation and passive beamforming, and efficient solutions are obtained for each sub-problem by using approximation methods. Numerical results demonstrate the benefits of the proposed optimization scheme in the multi-cell RIS-NOMA network.
