Summary: The study found that [Ga-68]Ga-DOTA-FAPI-04 PET/CT has better diagnostic performance in detecting primary and metastatic lesions of esophageal cancer compared to [F-18]FDG PET/CT. The technology showed higher accuracy in detecting lesions in treatment-naive patients and had higher sensitivity for primary tumors, lymph nodes, and bone and visceral metastases.

Summary: In this study, the PET findings of F-18-FDG PET/CT were compared with Ga-68-FAPI-04 PET/CT findings in breast cancer patients with low F-18-FDG uptake. The results showed that Ga-68-FAPI-04 PET/CT has higher sensitivity in detecting primary tumors and provides higher SUVmax values. Additionally, this method can contribute to increased detection of lymph node involvement and aid in patient management.

Summary: This study aimed to explore the effect of half-dose [Ga-68]Ga-FAPI-04 on image quality and tumor detectability in oncology patients. The results showed that with a reduced acquisition time of 120 s, half-dose [Ga-68]Ga-FAPI-04 in total-body PET/CT imaging achieved acceptable subjective image quality and 100% tumor detection rate.

Summary: This study evaluated the diagnostic value of [(68)Ga]Ga-DOTA-FAPI-04 PET/CT for recurrent soft tissue sarcoma (STS) and compared it with [F-18]FDG PET/CT. The results showed that [(68)Ga]Ga-DOTA-FAPI-04 PET/CT was more accurate than [F-18]FDG PET/CT in detecting recurrent lesions of liposarcoma, MSFT, and IDCS.

Summary: The purpose of this study was to compare the impact of FAPI-directed molecular imaging with GCI on staging and therapeutic management in patients with digestive system tumors. The results showed that 68Ga-FAPI-04 PET/CT resulted in staging changes in 46.9% of patients and therapeutic modifications in 25.0% of patients. These findings may favor a more widespread adoption of FAP-directed imaging, especially in patients with HCC and PDAC.
