Summary: The study found that a mixture of Bacillus strains can improve intestinal health and enhance disease resistance in rabbits infected with ETEC. The mixture reduced oxidative damage, severity of diarrhea, and intestinal damage caused by ETEC, while increasing the population of beneficial bacteria and decreasing the population of harmful bacteria. Additionally, the Bacillus strains group exhibited higher levels of anti-inflammatory factors and intestinal barrier-related genes, contributing to enhanced immunity.

Summary: The effects of enzymolytic soybean meal (ESBM) on the growth performance, digestive enzyme activity, serum biochemical parameters, immunity, carcase performance and meat quality of Rex rabbits were investigated in this study. The results showed that replacing soybean meal with ESBM can reduce the feed to weight ratio, increase the activity of certain digestive enzymes, improve carcase performance, and enhance immunity in Rex rabbits.

Summary: The optimal level of copper supplementation for growing Rex rabbits is found to be 30 mg/kg in the diet, which significantly increases feed intake, weight gain, and nutrient digestibility. Supplementing up to 120 mg/kg of copper does not have a significant adverse effect on zinc metabolism in growing Rex rabbits.

Summary: This study investigated the effects of weaning on the gut archaea of pigs and found that weaning significantly affected the richness and composition of archaeal species. The study also revealed the dynamic changes of archaeal diversity and functions over time. The results suggest that archaea play essential roles in the nutrition, metabolism, and growth performance of swine, especially during the critical weaning process.

Summary: This study evaluated the effects of dietary inulin on the growth, digestive ability, and intestinal microbiota of yellow catfish under ammonia stress. The results showed that inulin supplementation can improve growth, digestive enzyme activity, blood health, immune response, antioxidant enzyme activity, and reduce inflammatory response of yellow catfish exposed to ammonia. In addition, inulin can also improve the composition of intestinal microbiota. This study suggests that inulin can be used as a potential feed additive to help yellow catfish cope with ammonia stress.

Summary: This simple crossbreeding experiment explored the genetic effects of the Gabali breed and the Hyplus line on growth traits in rabbits. The results suggest that the Gabali breed could be used as a sire-group and the Hyplus line could be used as a dam-group to create new high growth rabbit lines in Egypt.

Summary: Environmental enrichment positively impacted the growth, carcass traits, meat quality, and hair follicle development of growing Rex rabbits. The CB group showed the highest average daily gain, better carcass traits, meat quality, and higher hair follicle density compared to the other groups. Among the enrichment materials, CB was the most beneficial for rabbit husbandry.

Summary: Under low-temperature stress, inoculation with B. methyltrophicus 'VL-10 & PRIME; promotes the growth of tomato seedlings, enhances the native defense ability of tomatoes, and effectively reduces the adverse effects of low temperature on leaf SPAD and Fv/Fm. The nutritional quality of tomatoes can be effectively improved by inoculation with B. methyltrophicus 'VL-10 & PRIME; regardless of normal cultivation or low-temperature stress.

Summary: This study investigated the effects of fucoidan supplementation on growth performance, biochemical indices, immunity, digestive enzyme activity, antioxidant capacity, and liver histological structure in juvenile common carp. The results showed that a dose of 1666.67-1757 mg/kg of fucoidan led to the best growth performance. Fucoidan supplementation improved immune function, reduced lipid peroxidation, but a higher dose of fucoidan induced inflammation and metabolic disorders.
