Summary: This study examines the relationship between consumers' perception of food safety and their knowledge of food technology through an online survey. The results show that technological treatments and commercial information significantly impact consumers' perceived safety in different product categories, with milk and eggs being associated with higher perceived hazards. Organic certification positively influences the safety perception of eggs and honey, while an increase in the distance of product origin decreases the perceived safety. Food technology neophobia (FTN) also affects the perception of safety in milk and eggs, depending on individuals' familiarity with production technologies.

Summary: This study aimed to examine the relationship between trait Emotional Intelligence (trait EI) and key sociodemographic variables across different countries. The results indicated significant global trait EI differences across countries for civil status, occupation, educational attainment, and age, with acceptable measurement invariance especially for age, gender, and education. The psychometric evidence supports the suitability of the TEIQue-SF for accurate assessment of trait EI in transcultural research.

Summary: Algae as a novel food source is considered a promising alternative protein option for healthier and more sustainable food consumption. This study investigates attitudes towards microalgae as a food source in three Western European countries and explores the factors influencing consumer preferences. The results indicate that the target group for microalgae as food in these countries consists of individuals who prioritize a healthy lifestyle, are open to trying new foods, and have a preference for vegetarian or low meat diets. Additionally, the price competitiveness of microalgae compared to meat-based products plays a significant role in shaping positive attitudes.

Summary: This paper introduces a method that analyzes scientific publications to study the digital history of a discipline, using social psychology as an example. The study collected titles of papers published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology from 1965 to 2021, resulting in 10,222 items. Through preprocessing and data analysis, clusters of words with similar temporal patterns were identified, revealing changing trends in keywords and highlighting popular methods, theories, and application domains. The method also allows for the identification of historical issues and debates within the discipline. This study underscores the importance of digital history research methods for understanding the development of a discipline.

Summary: Innovation intermediaries have become diverse, and this study aims to understand their activities. Using text mining and bibliometric techniques, seven different literature streams are identified, among which six refer to distinct types of intermediaries. The early contributions focused on university incubators and science/technology parks, while recent focus shifted to intermediaries supporting sustainable transitions. Despite differences, all literature streams share a common theoretical basis of open innovation and emphasize the role of science parks and incubators.

Summary: Increasing veterinarians' awareness of antimicrobial administration is crucial in combatting antimicrobial resistance (AMR). This manuscript presents a training project example designed for veterinarians in the rabbit sector, utilizing blended learning strategies to encourage communication and discussion among experts. The project resulted in the development of an operational tool that provides guidance for reducing antimicrobial usage and promoting responsible drug use on rabbit farms. The positive feedback from participating veterinarians suggests the potential application of this training program in addressing AMR in other animal production chains.
