Summary: A metastasis-related risk model was established in this study to accurately predict the prognosis of LUAD. The metastatic relevance and clinical significance of MRLNRs were validated through various in vitro experiments. The MRRS provided a promising assessing model for clinical decision making and prognosis of LUAD.

Summary: The study reveals that MALAT1 expression in subchondral bone of osteoarthritis (OA) joints is associated with parameters of joint health and biomarkers of joint inflammation, and it plays a functional role in regulating inflammation in human OA osteoblasts. The induction of MALAT1 in human OA osteoblasts upon inflammatory challenge and its modulation of PGE2 production suggests that MALAT1 may play a role in regulating inflammation in OA subchondral bone.

Summary: This study identified recurrent methylation patterns in brain metastases of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), which may serve as prognostic biomarkers and contribute to disease progression. The altered DNA methylation was associated with the loss of EZH2 occupancy at developmental genes and changes in epigenetic regulation.

Summary: Studies have shown that different m6A-related-lncRNA patterns can impact overall survival and tumor microenvironment in LUAD patients. A prognostic signature based on 13 m6A-related lncRNAs may help predict the prognosis for LUAD patients.

Summary: Small cell lung cancer (SCLC) is a highly aggressive cancer characterized by poor differentiation, rapid growth, and low overall survival rate. Recent studies have shown that non-coding elements, especially non-coding RNAs, may play an important role in regulating the development and progression of SCLC, and have potential clinical applications.

Summary: Extracellular vesicle long RNA (evlRNA) sequencing can identify biomarkers for early-stage lung adenocarcinoma. A 23-gene signature can effectively distinguish lung adenocarcinoma patients from control subjects, and a 17-gene signature can differentiate different types of lung adenocarcinoma patients. Combined with low-dose computed tomography, it can improve the accuracy of lung cancer screening.

Summary: This study reveals the important role and mechanism of long non-coding RNA BC in promoting tumor metastasis and influencing clinical prognosis of lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD). BC promotes growth, invasion, metastasis, and resistance to EGFR-targeted therapies in lung cancer by forming a splicing complex with nucleolin and hnRNPK. High expression of BC is associated with clinical progress and poor survival in LUAD.

Summary: Using WGCNA, we constructed a co-expression module and identified a key module that plays a crucial role in the prognosis of LUAD. We further constructed an mRNA-lncRNA network within this key module, and identified three lncRNAs and nineteen mRNAs as potential prognostic biomarkers in LUAD.

Summary: This study aimed to establish an autophagy-related lncRNA prognostic signature for lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) patients, which showed predictability for prognosis and identified potential biomarkers and therapeutic targets. The signature included five autophagy-related lncRNAs, and the risk score was validated as an independent factor for LUAD patients. Drug sensitivity analysis also revealed different responses between high and low risk patients. Gene ontology and pathway enrichment analysis showed enrichment in autophagy, metabolism, p53 pathway, and JAK/STAT pathway. Multi-omics analysis demonstrated differential gene expressions in tumor and normal samples.

Summary: This study identified 19 GI-lncRNAs significantly associated with the overall survival of LUAC patients, and developed a prognostic model based on these GI-lncRNAs. The GI-lncRNA model showed independent prognostic value in predicting patient outcomes, outperforming existing models based on TP53 mutation status and lncRNAs.
