Summary: We studied the structures of micelleplexes formed by cationic copolymer micelles interacting with DNA, and found that the stability, morphology, and complexation of the micelleplexes depend on various factors including copolymer molecular mass, hydrophilic/hydrophobic ratio, micellar structure, DNA length, N/P ratio, and ionic strength. Our findings suggest that these polyelectrolyte copolymer micelles have potential as non-viral vectors for nucleic acids delivery and gene therapy.

Summary: For the first time, a new pH/redox dual stimulus-responsive formononetin imprinting material was successfully prepared by combining N,N'-bisacryloylcystamine containing disulfide bond as the cross-linking agent with molecularly imprinted technology. The material showed excellent drug-loading property and selectivity to formononetin, and had sensitivity to both pH and redox environments. The repeated regeneration experiment demonstrated its stability and reusability.

Summary: This study investigates a cationic amphiphilic polymer with aggregation-induced emission (AIE) characteristic, which can localize to mitochondria with excellent organelle targeting and show good cytotoxicity. Additionally, the polymer can self-assemble into doxorubicin-loaded micelles with high encapsulation rate and small particle size. Therefore, it can be used as a substitute for expensive mitochondrial targeting reagents and as a drug loading tool for mitochondrial targeting therapeutic research.

Summary: A novel antibacterial copolymer brush surface containing both cationic amphiphilic polymers and thermoresponsive polymers has been synthesized. Adjusting the proportion of these polymers in the copolymer brush allows for the creation of a highly efficient bactericidal surface without compromising its self-cleaning property. The killing and releasing efficiency of the optimized surface reached above 80% for both Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli bacteria, and these abilities remained excellent even after three kill-release cycles. This novel copolymer brush system provides innovative guidance for the development of high-efficiency antibacterial materials in biomedical applications.

Summary: This study introduces ditelluride group into fluorinated Gemini amphiphilic polymer for the first time to fabricate polymeric micelles for controlled drug release. The unique synergism effect between the cleavage of ditelluride bonds and the superhydrophobicity of the fluorocarbon chain endows the micelles with excellent stability and drug-loading content. The micelles show efficient uptake in tumor cells and exhibit good therapeutic effects, providing a promising approach for chemotherapy.
