Summary: Glioblastoma (GBM) is a highly aggressive cancer characterized by rapid cell proliferation. Legumain (LGMN), a specific protease, is associated with poor progression in GBM. CircRNAs are abnormally expressed in various cancers, and circLGMN derived from LGMN promotes GBM malignancy by sponging miR127-3p to upregulate LGMN expression. Targeting the circLGMN/miR-127-3p/LGMN axis may be a promising strategy for GBM treatment, and further research on LGMN self-regulation by circLGMN is warranted.
