Summary: This study found that using adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosomes (ADSC-Exos) can improve the short-term survival of cryopreserved fat grafts (within 4 weeks), but the overall improvement is limited in the long-term (after 8 weeks).

Summary: Cell-assisted lipotransfer (CAL) is a novel technique that improves the low survival rate of traditional fat grafting by co-transplanting adipose-derived stem cells (ASCs). This study investigates the use of mechanical stress to enhance the potency of ASCs in CAL. Results show that mechanical stress increases ASC proliferation, leading to improved engraftment in CAL procedures.

Summary: Adipose-derived stem cells (ASCs), as a cell therapy, have shown potential in tissue repair, endocrine regulation, immune regulation, and aging and obesity research. Gut microbiota play a crucial role in aging and obesity development through dysbiosis and activation of inflammatory pathways.

Summary: This study investigated the impact of exercise training and high-fat diet on the differentiation potential of adipose-derived stem cells (ADSCs) and found variations in amino acid accumulation under different conditions. The findings also revealed the influence of exercise training on amino acid metabolism pathways in ADSCs-derived adipocytes.

Summary: This study demonstrated the immunomodulatory potential of ADSCs in skin allotransplantation, but multiple administrations did not yield better outcomes compared to single administration. This suggests the complexity of ADSCs in vivo and the necessity for comprehensive preclinical experiments.

Summary: We induced adipose-derived stem cells (ADSCs) to differentiate into pericytes by treating them with conditional medium (CM) from endothelial cells (ECs) or human recombinant transforming growth factor beta (TGF-beta). The results showed that TGF-beta released by ECs promoted the migration, association with ECs, and expression of pericyte markers in ADSCs. MiR-24-3p directly targeted PDGFR beta in ADSCs and downregulating miR-24-3p promoted pericyte differentiation, migration, and association with ECs.

Summary: The study demonstrates that exosomes derived from AD-MSCs promote the survival of fat grafts by regulating macrophage polarization through let-7c, shedding light on the immunotherapeutic potential of AD-MSC-derived exosomes in fat grafting.

Summary: This study aimed to investigate the efficacy and mechanism of action of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) in rescuing mice with sepsis. The results showed that allogeneic adipose-derived MSCs had a significant therapeutic effect on septic mice, but the dose-related effects were substantial. An appropriate dose significantly reduced mortality and alleviated infection and organ damage, while a higher dose could cause early death and exacerbated liver injury.

Summary: This study explored the characteristics of human adipose-derived mesenchymal stromal cells' small extracellular vesicles (hADMSC-sEVs) and their role in improving the survival rate of grafted fat. The results showed that hADMSC-sEVs promoted the survival of grafted fats by promoting the formation of new blood vessels, reducing inflammation and fibrosis, which represents a promising advancement in the field of regenerative medicine.

Summary: This study found that diabetic ASC-Exo enhance cutaneous wound healing by stimulating dermal cell proliferation, keratinocyte proliferation, and angiogenesis. The diabetic ASC-Exo also stimulate resident monocytes/macrophages to secrete more TGF-beta 1 and activate the TGF-beta/Smad3 signaling pathway.

Summary: Cartilage damage is often difficult to repair, and current treatment strategies are inadequate. Autologous mesenchymal stem cells are considered a promising therapeutic approach for cartilage regeneration, as they possess robust cartilaginous production capacity and are easy to isolate and expand without causing morbidity.

Summary: The study demonstrated that autologous adipose tissue mesenchymal stem cells (AT-MSCs) injected as a treatment for anal fistulas showed promising effectiveness. AT-MSCs in responders had higher osteoblast differentiation potential, while those in non-responders displayed higher adipocyte differentiation potential. Additionally, genes associated with inflammatory responses and senescence were expressed at lower levels in the AT-MSCs of responders.
