Summary: This study aimed to collect data on patch test reactivity and clinical relevance of audit allergens in consecutive patients across Europe. The results showed that positive reactions were most common to lin-OOH and lim-OOH, while benzisothiazolinone and sodium metabisulfite were suitable for routine testing.

Summary: This study described the epidemiological, clinical, and allergy profile of patients with hand eczema who underwent patch testing, and compared patients with and without AD. AD was common in patients with hand eczema, and patients with hand eczema and AD had different clinical and epidemiological characteristics compared to hand eczema patients in general.

Summary: This study aims to evaluate the spatial distribution of skin melanoma in Gran Canaria Island and investigate the role of environmental, socio-economic, and demographic factors in this distribution. The results suggest that urbanicity and a high socio-economic status are the main risk factors for skin melanoma.

Summary: This study evaluated the response and tolerance of brentuximab vedotin (BV) in patients with CD30-expressing cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL). The results showed that BV had efficacy and safety in patients with advanced-stage mycosis fungoides (MF) and CD30+ lymphoproliferative disorders (CD30 LPD). Additionally, patients with folliculotropic MF (FMF) and Sezary syndrome (SS) also showed a favorable response.

Summary: Sensitization to MI, MCI/MI, and BIT is still common in Spain, while sensitization to OIT is rare. Sensitization to MI and MCI/MI seems to be occupationally related, while sensitization to BIT is more frequent in patients aged over 40 years. Approximately one in nine MI-positive patients were positive to BIT, and one in five BIT-positive patients were positive to MI.

Prognosis and sequelae of meth(acrylate) sensitization in beauticians and consumers of manicure materials

Summary: This study evaluated the prognosis, work performance impairment and sequelae of beauticians and manicure consumers sensitized to (meth)acrylic monomers (ACDMA) from exposure to manicure products. Results showed that 49.3% of beauticians continued to work, most patients stopped using acrylic manicure materials, reactions from dental materials were not uncommon, and reactions to sanitary napkins developing after the diagnosis of ACDMA were common, leading to discontinuation of use.

Summary: Patch testing of patients with frontal fibrosing alopecia (FFA) revealed a high prevalence of sensitization to ethylhexyl salicylate (EHS). We propose expanding the spectrum of allergens in FFA to include EHS and consider optimizing the patch test preparation.
