Summary: The study found high rates of individual and household disease diagnosis, low consumption of fruits and vegetables, and low levels of physical activity among food pantry clients. Interviews identified five main themes across all stakeholder groups, highlighting the need to address barriers to food and physical activity, improve health literacy, and make adjustments to current pantry operations for effective health intervention programming. Further research is needed to pilot a comprehensive health behavior intervention program in food pantry settings.

Summary: This study examines the factors influencing women's knowledge about food and nutrition in rural areas of Bangladesh. The research sample consisted of women who had participated in the BRAC Health Nutrition and Population Programme in 2017. The findings indicate that women have a good level of understanding of food and nutrition. Family size, annual income, and level of education significantly impact rural women's knowledge about food and nutrition. It is recommended that the government, extension department, and NGOs collaborate to develop an integrated approach in rural contexts to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 2: ensuring food security and improved nutrition. This research will assist policymakers in Bangladesh in formulating effective strategies to address the nation's current nutrition challenges and associated health risks.

Summary: The study found that Inuit people are consuming less country food and more market food, driven by factors such as colonial processes, poverty, changing food preferences and knowledge, and climate change. The health implications of dietary transition are complex, with concerns about micronutrient deficiencies, dietary inadequacy, food insecurity, overweight, obesity, and cultural influences. This review provides insight into the factors influencing Inuit diet and health, which may inform future research and decision-making on food policy and community programs.

Summary: This study assessed college students' knowledge of physical activity and nutrition recommendations. The results showed that while most students were aware of the existence of these recommendations, only a small percentage could accurately report them. There were no significant associations between gender or body mass index and awareness or accuracy. Non-Kinesiology majors had lower awareness of physical activity recommendations. Therefore, it is important to prioritize the teaching of these guidelines.
