Summary: This study addresses the lack of empirical longitudinal evidence in the existing eco-innovation literature on how industry norms influence firms' strategic choices and innovation activities in the context of environmental sustainability. It reveals the causal effects of industry norms promoting environmentally sustainable practices on firms' environmental strategy development, ultimately driving eco-innovation outputs. By utilizing survey data and longitudinal analysis, the study offers robust empirical evidence on the impact of industry norms on firm strategy and eco-innovation. This research provides important theoretical, empirical, methodological, and practical implications for understanding the relationship between industry norms and eco-innovation.

Summary: This study discussed the importance of technical environmental innovations (TEIs) in the hospitality industry, finding that the use of environmental process innovations can reduce operating costs and environmental discharges. However, management indicators are needed to measure the real impact on the environment. Despite the benefits of TEIs, their use has not yet become widespread in the Peruvian hospitality industry due to internal and external barriers.

Summary: The reform of environmental management systems plays a key role in improving environmental pollution treatment and green technology innovation. This paper examines the impacts of environmental decentralization and environmental protection investment on green technology innovation using panel data from 30 provincial administrative regions in China. The study finds that environmental decentralization promotes green technology innovation after an initial period of inhibition. It also reveals that environmental pollution treatment investment has a significant inhibiting effect on green technology innovation under high levels of environmental decentralization.

Summary: This study examines the impact of internal green activities, such as green managerial innovation and green supply chain management, on firms' environmental performance. It also explores the roles of intellectual property rights, green supply chain management, and green marketing innovation in facilitating green innovation. Findings from a sample of 452 South Korean firms validate the direct effects of green managerial innovation and intellectual property rights on green supply chain management; the effects of green supply chain management and intellectual property rights on green innovation; and the effect of green innovation on environmental performance. Additionally, the study confirms the mediating role of green supply chain management and the moderating role of green marketing innovation in the relationship between green innovation and environmental performance.

Summary: This study investigates the impact of different motivations on environmental corporate sustainability outcomes, specifically in terms of eco-innovation product and process adoption, and examines the mediating role of eco-innovation strategy. The results show that eco-innovation strategy plays a critical role in transforming eco-innovation motivations to environmental sustainability outcomes, and there are differences in the environmental behavior of family and non-family firms. While family firms are driven by internal motivations and proactive eco-innovation strategies, external pressures are the main drivers for non-family firms' environmental outcomes, both directly and indirectly through eco-innovation strategies.

Summary: This study analyzes the characteristics of process parameters in three lean gas ethane recovery processes and establishes a prediction and multiobjective optimization model for ethane recovery and system energy consumption. A new method for comparing ethane recovery processes for lean gas is proposed, and the addition of extra coolers improves the ethane recovery. The support vector regression model based on grey wolf optimization demonstrates the highest prediction accuracy, and the multiobjective multiverse optimization algorithm shows the best optimization performance and diversity in the solutions.

Summary: The paper proposes a novel deep learning-based prediction framework, aTCN-LSTM, for accurate cooling load predictions. The framework utilizes a gate-controlled multi-head temporal convolutional network and a sparse probabilistic self-attention mechanism with a bidirectional long short-term memory network to capture both temporal and long-term dependencies in the cooling load sequences. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed method, which can serve as an effective guide for HVAC chiller scheduling and demand management initiatives.
