Summary: This paper presents a framework for categorizing barriers and drivers to the implementation of onshore power supply (OPS) based on a systematic literature review. The framework divides the barriers and drivers into four key categories and applies them to three main areas of concern. The research suggests potential solutions to specific barriers and highlights the need for a collaborative approach to OPS. Future research should focus on the systemic implications of OPS and the use of incentives, pricing, and business models to address implementation costs.
