Summary: This paper analyzes a proposed circular polarized shift keying (CPolSK) for free space optical (FSO) communication system under distribution channel model and Malaga (M) distribution channel model. The proposed system includes two feedback paths for error correction and utilizes optical hybrids for signal mixing. The performance of the system is evaluated under different atmospheric turbulence (AT) conditions, phase noise variance, and polarization control error. The results show that the system's error rate improves with better AT conditions, lower phase noise variance, and decreased polarization control error. The outage probability is also analyzed for different phase noise variances and it is found that the M distribution channel model has a steeper slope compared to the distribution channel model.

Summary: In this study, the energy distribution of electron traps in Sr4Al14O25:Eu2+,Dy3+ phosphor was analyzed. It was found that the material exhibited two glow peaks, P1 and P2, with the intensity of P1 being affected by the heating rate. The peak positions of both P1 and P2 were observed to shift with irradiation temperature and preheating temperature, indicating the presence of closely spaced overlapping peaks.

Summary: Traffic flow modeling is crucial for intelligent transportation systems, aiming to mitigate congestion and reduce carbon emissions. Kernel-based extreme learning machine (KELM) has shown excellent performance in traffic flow prediction. However, its performance may decrease significantly under non-Gaussian noise. To address this issue, we propose an error-distribution-free kernel extreme learning machine (eDFKELM) model and develop an online version for continual forecasting.

Summary: This paper proposes a new method for the placement of important synchrophasor sensors, called distribution-level phasor measurement units (DPMUs), in order to accurately estimate the state of distribution systems. By considering the limited number of DPMUs, zero injection buses, limited DPMU channels, and supervisory control and data acquisition measurements, a new objective function is developed to minimize state estimation errors. Simulations on IEEE 34-bus and 123-bus distribution systems demonstrate the performance of the proposed method.

Summary: The rotation error of a rotate vector (RV) reducer is analyzed using the Deep Gaussian processes (DeepGP) model and Sobol sensitivity analysis (SA) method. A high-precision regression prediction model of the rotation error and each affecting factor is created using the optimal Latin hypercube sampling (OLHS) approach and DeepGP model. The results show that the rotation error mainly depends on the influencing factors in the second stage cycloidal pinwheel drive part, while the primary involute planetary part and planetary output carrier's rotation error factors have little effect.
