The person is dumbfounded. They submitted two papers consecutively. The first paper was rejected by the editor 3 days later. The second paper was rejected by the editor at 5 am the next day. Both rejections were due to the same reason: "Since the proposed approach has not been validated against any experimental/numerical results, the submitted paper cannot be considered for publication."
