Submitted for 1 year and 2 weeks, I received an acceptance notice. Then, 2 weeks later, it was published online. The initial process was very lengthy, going through 3 major revisions and being reviewed by 3 experts. The first two times had over 20 questions each, while the third round had only a few questions, but one of them was particularly sharp, involving modifications to the title, abstract, and results. I did not accept this suggestion, but instead argued my reasoning. Fortunately, it was ultimately accepted. Overall, I felt the editor and reviewers were very serious, so you cannot be careless either, but you should stand your ground on important matters.
