Aims and Scope

Science and Technology of Nuclear Installations is an international scientific journal that aims to make available knowledge on issues related to the nuclear industry and to promote development in the area of nuclear sciences and technologies. The endeavor associated with the establishment and the growth of the journal is expected to lend support to the renaissance of nuclear technology in the world and especially in those countries where nuclear programs have not yet been developed.

I would like to ask researchers who have submitted to this journal and have been accepted, how long does it typically take for the initial review of a manuscript? How long after submission does the status change to "under review"? Will they send an email if the submission is rejected?

May I ask: Will he send an email to the first author or the corresponding author? Since it was submitted by the first author, I checked the status on the journal website, and it says "under review." It has been two months and a few days, but no email has been sent to the first author.
