It's quite difficult to answer your question. Based on my submission experience, it completely depends on whether your article topic is unpopular and whether the reviewers are slow or not. I feel that this journal editor is not very slow, and luckily I received a response within a month. However, I also know some people who received the first review results after 3 or 4 months.

After submission, you can check the status on Research Square. The status is slightly different from the submission system, but the editorial handling of the manuscript is quite fast.
