ISSN / eISSN
2164-6325 / 2164-6341
Aims and Scope
This journal publishes high quality peer reviewed original research and review articles on macromolecules and additives obtained from renewable/biobased resources. Utilizing a multidisciplinary approach, JRM introduces cutting-edge research on biobased monomers, polymers, additives (both organic and inorganic), their blends and composites. JRM showcases both fundamental aspects and applications of renewable materials. The fundamental topics include the synthesis and polymerization of biobased monomers and macromonomers, the chemical modification of natural polymers, as well as the characterization, structure-property relationships, processing, recycling, bio and environmental degradation and life cycle analysis of the ensuing materials, in view of their potential applications. Within this sustainability approach, green chemistry processes and studies falling within biorefinery contexts are strongly favored.

The response was very prompt, the reviewers were very professional, and their suggestions were very constructive. The editor was very responsible, and the speed of the review was the fastest I have ever seen. Generally, if there are no issues, it takes about two months to be accepted. In my case, it took longer due to my own reasons. I submitted at the end of April and received a major revision on May 6th, with a one-month deadline. Due to health reasons, I couldn't finish on time, so the editor gave me an extension. I submitted the revised manuscript on July 20th, received minor revisions on July 27th, and resubmitted on July 30th. It was finally accepted on August 5th. The publication fee was 1100 USD for the journal. There was a transfer fee of 50 USD and a cross-border transaction fee of 10 USD. There was also a 200 RMB fee from the Bank of China, making a total of around 7770 RMB. Among open-access SCI journals, JRM is considered to have a very high cost-performance ratio.

Extremely fast journal. Focusing on solid waste utilization. Submission deadline is February 9th. First round of review comments will be returned on March 11th (13 comments from 2 experts). Revised manuscript should be submitted by March 18th. Acceptance notice will be given on March 22nd. Currently waiting for publication and indexing. The publication fee is fixed at $1155, regardless of the length of the article, including a $55 transaction fee. Although it is a fourth-tier journal of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, after carefully reading several articles inside, the quality is actually quite good. The journal's impact factor is also continuously increasing, indicating a promising future. If you are in urgent need of publishing your research, you can consider submitting to this journal. Honestly, the price is quite reasonable compared to some domestic core journals, which charge even higher publication fees.
