- Academy members
- Governing boards and deans of Dutch universities
- Directors of Dutch research institutes
- Individual professors at universities in the Netherlands and abroad
- Academies and other scientific and scholarly institutions in the Netherlands and abroad
- The board of the Dutch Network of Women Professors (Landelijk Netwerk Vrouwelijke Hoogleraren)

The Dr. A.H. Heineken Prize for Medicine recognises pioneering work in medicine and is awarded to a researcher whose achievements have led or are expected to lead to an important application in medical practice.
