I guess most researchers, even juniors understand the significance of peer review to hone research works through their insightful suggestions and comments scrutinizing it from different points of view. The problem is the long delay in assigning reviewers with relevant backgrounds. I have an unfortunate experience with Hindawi Journal being made to wait for more than 90 days for the assignment of reviewers!
