Commented on Shareholder Engagement on Environmental, Social, and Governance Performance
The study offers concrete proof that ethical investing and successful performance are compatible. The activist investor's involvement appears to be most advantageous—both in terms of ESG (Environmental Social and Governance) performance and financial performance—for firms with low ex-ante ESG performance, indicating that these moral investors play a significant role in assisting firms in understanding how they can improve outcomes for all of their stakeholders.

Commented on Environmental, social and governance disclosure and default risk
The data also shows that ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) disclosure has a negative impact on default risk through higher profitability, decreased performance variability, and lower cost of financing. They also show that ESG disclosure only has a detrimental effect on default risk for established, older companies. These findings are crucial for all parties involved in a company, such as shareholders and bondholders, who should consider the firm's ESG disclosure and its life cycle stage before making investment decisions.

Why will Google be firing 12,000 workers in 2023? Has artificial intelligence advanced to the point that it no longer needs humans? In terms of artificial intelligence, it has not progressed. It actually lost money. Since they overhired during the epidemic and recovery, when the tech industry was growing, nearly all of the top tech employers are laying off employees as a result of the current economic situation. They can't afford it anymore due to the recession we are currently experiencing. As a result, they are attempting to identify areas where costs can be reduced and eliminate inefficiencies.
