Summary: Bladder cancer is the 10th most common cancer worldwide, and current diagnostic methods have limited sensitivity and lack effective prognostic biomarkers. Extracellular vesicles (EVs) have emerged as potential tools for liquid biopsy-based diagnosis and prognosis, as they carry biomarkers and play a crucial role in intercellular communication. However, there are advantages and downsides to using EVs in this context.

Summary: This study investigated pregnancy outcomes and associated factors in young patients receiving hormonal therapy for fertility-sparing treatment. Factors such as normal BMI, shorter time to complete remission, longer treatment duration, fewer hysteroscopy procedures, and thicker endometrium were found to be positive indicators for successful pregnancies. Additionally, successful pregnancy can protect the endometrium and assisted reproductive technology does not increase the risk of recurrence.

Summary: Continued medical treatment is effective for early endometrial carcinoma patients who did not achieve complete response after at least 9 months of progestin therapy. Factors such as history of polycystic ovarian syndrome, histologic grade 2, and failure to achieve partial response within 12 months are associated with failure to achieve complete response.

Summary: Campylobacter jejuni has a high genetic exchange potential, with natural transformation regulation factors largely unknown. Competence development is influenced by pH and oxygen conditions, but shows some adaptability and occurs in a neutral and microaerobic environment.

Summary: This study examines consumers' return behavior in China and Italy, two different cultural contexts. The findings reveal that cultural differences influence consumers' willingness to return at different stages of the purchase process. The study provides theoretical and managerial insights and suggests future research directions.

Summary: We conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis to examine the relationship between endometrial telomerase activity and endometrial cancer or hyperplasia. The results indicated a significant association between endometrial telomerase activity and both endometrial cancer and hyperplasia compared to control women. However, there was no significant difference in telomerase activity between endometrial cancer and hyperplasia patients.

Summary: This study aimed to investigate endometrial hyperplasia (EH) and endometrial endometrioid cancer (EEC) and develop a mathematical model to predict the risk and improve clinical prognosis. Data were collected from young females with abnormal uterine bleeding or abnormal ultrasound endometrial echoes. The predictors included body mass index, polycystic ovary syndrome, anemia, infertility, menostaxis, abnormal uterine bleeding type, and endometrial thickness.

Summary: This study estimated the prevalence of endometrial hyperplasia and/or cancer (EH/EC) in patients 545 years old with abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB) and identified associated risk factors. The results showed that BMI and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) were associated with increased risk of EH/EC, while non-Hispanic Black race was associated with decreased risk. The prevalence of EH/EC varied widely depending on combinations of risk factors.

Summary: This study found a high prevalence of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) in postmenopausal women with breast cancer (BC) and endometrial cancer (EC), but no significant associations were detected between OSA metrics and specific tumor characteristics.

Summary: This study found that late menarche, early menopause, and a higher number of deliveries were significantly associated with a lower risk of endometrial cancer. These findings from a large pooled study of Asian women add to the growing body of evidence on the association between reproductive factors and endometrial cancer risk.

Summary: Endometrial cancer remains the most common gynecologic malignancy in the United States, with a majority being low-grade and an increasing incidence among young women. Early-stage, low-grade endometrial cancer generally has a favorable prognosis, and surgical treatment alone can often be curative. Young women should consider ovarian conservation to avoid the risks of surgical menopause.

Summary: This study retrospectively evaluated the treatment and outcomes of young women with breast cancer in Switzerland. The majority of patients received treatment according to international guidelines, but there were differences in quality of care across the different linguistic/geographic regions. After adjusting for multiple factors, only tumor characteristics and treatment period were independently associated with survival.

Summary: The prevalence of ERBB2 gene amplification was investigated among patients with gynecologic malignancies. The study found that ERBB2 amplification is frequently encountered in uterine serous carcinoma and mucinous ovarian carcinoma, but less common in endometrioid endometrial carcinoma.
