Summary: This systematic review identified studies that developed instruments to measure culinary skills in adult population and critically assessed their psychometric properties. While the reviewed tools show promise in terms of quality of psychometric properties, there is still a need for ongoing research in this area to establish more consistent and comprehensive measures.

Summary: The study developed a new questionnaire called the Sarcopenia Knowledge Questionnaire (SKQ) to assess the level of awareness about sarcopenia in older adults. The reliability and validity of this tool were tested with a sample of 293 older adults. The SKQ demonstrated excellent internal consistency (Cronbach's a = 0.969) and moderate convergent validity (correlation with the Mandarin Multidimensional Health Literacy Questionnaire, r = 0.511, p < 0.001). The results suggest that the SKQ is a valid and reliable instrument for evaluating the knowledge of older adults about sarcopenia.

Summary: It is important to assess sleep quality among nonclinical adolescents for the surveillance of their psychological and physical health. This study examined the validity and reliability of the Chinese version of the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) in a sample of Chinese students. The results showed moderate internal consistency of the PSQI and supported its three-dimensional model and measurement invariance across gender and age. The correlations between PSQI scores and measures of positive life aspects and mental illness and distress provided evidence for criterion validity. A cutoff point of 6.5 was identified as optimal for diagnosing sleep disturbance using the PSQI.
