The liquid-liquid equilibrium of ternary mixture (propargyl alcohol + water + butyl acetate) was measured under atmospheric pressure and at different temperatures of 291.95 K, 297.35 K, 303.55 K, 313.75 K and 323.25 K. The triangular phase diagrams were presented by plotting the experimental tie-line data and the calculated binodal curves and tie-lines. With the binary interaction parameters obtained by regression on the experimental data, the UNIQUAC model can describe the LLE behavior of this system fairly well. (C) 2009 Elsevier B.V.
