Summary: This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of the dual trigger approach using GnRH-a and hCG for final oocyte maturation in improving the quantity and quality of mature oocytes/top-quality embryos and pregnancy outcomes in expected normal responders.

Summary: This study compares the outcomes of two different hormonal protocols for IVF in young patients with low BMI. The prolonged protocol required more medication and stimulation time, but the live birth rate was similar to that of the long protocol. However, the prolonged protocol had a higher incidence of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome.

Summary: The purpose of this study was to determine an optimal maturation method to increase the yield of mature oocytes, focusing on cancer patients who have limited chances for fertility preservation before receiving gonadotoxic therapy. The results showed that dual triggering can be an efficient method to maximize the yield of mature oocytes in breast or endometrial cancer patients using letrozole combined with a GnRH antagonist protocol for fertility preservation.

Summary: The study found that a low oocyte maturity ratio is associated with decreased live birth and clinical pregnancy rates, but not with miscarriage or fertilization rates.

Summary: Stem cell transplantation has shown significant improvement and potentially a cure in patients with various hematologic disorders and genetic immune deficiencies. However, it often leads to primary ovarian insufficiency, highlighting the importance of optimizing fertility preservation protocols.

Summary: Stimulation duration combined with total oocyte count was identified as the most important factor associated with the EMOP during dual-trigger COS in IVF using a GnRH antagonist protocol. Factors such as day-2 follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) level, stimulation duration, and total oocyte count significantly predicted the efficacy of mature oocyte production (EMOP) after dual-trigger controlled ovarian stimulation (COS).

Summary: This study evaluated the outcomes of in vitro maturation (IVM) cycles triggered by gonadotropin releasing hormone agonist (GnRH-ag). The results showed a significant difference in the maturation rate on the day of egg retrieval, favoring GnRH-ag triggering. However, there were no differences in the final maturation rate and pregnancy rates. Therefore, GnRH-ag triggering can be considered an acceptable option in IVM cycles, especially when fertility preservation is a concern.

Summary: The prevalence of female infertility is significant and the advancements in fertility treatments have resulted in millions of babies being born through assisted reproductive technology. Two case studies suggest that oocyte retrieval can be an alternative to cycle cancellation and recommend freezing embryos after retrieval.

Summary: This study investigated the impact of post-trigger hCG/LH concentrations on oocyte yield and its association with genetic variants of LHCGR. The results showed a positive correlation between post-trigger LH concentrations and oocyte yield, and patients with the AG genotype of LHCGR rs2293275 may have suboptimal oocyte yield using the GnRH-a trigger.

Summary: During in-vitro maturation of immature porcine oocytes, gonadotropins are not necessary when FGF2, LIF, and IGF1 are present. FLI directly impacts oocyte competence without the need for gonadotropins, and in the presence of gonadotropins, it enhances cumulus cell expansion.

Summary: The recovery patterns of hormonal profiles after short-term (12 weeks) neoadjuvant ADT differ between GnRH antagonists and GnRH agonists. The choice between these drugs matters and may have a clinical impact depending on the primary objective of ADT.

Summary: This study analyzed the key regulatory factors in greater amberjack and found that the injection of SNa and GnRHa could elevate hormone levels and promote spawning in fish, suggesting their potential as stimulators of reproduction in marine species.

Summary: Under the GnRH-a long protocol, fresh embryo transfer (ET) was associated with higher implantation and live birth rates compared to frozen embryo transfer (FET). The study found no significant differences in clinical pregnancy rate, ectopic pregnancy rate, and pregnancy loss rate between the two groups. The freeze all strategy should be individualized and approached with caution, especially when using the GnRH-a long protocol.

Summary: The estradiol/oocyte ratio is associated with the percentage of MII oocytes, but does not predict the quality of individual follicles. In the process of IVF treatment, there might be a higher risk of miscarriage within a certain range of E-2/O ratio.

Summary: This study aimed to investigate the incidence of functional ovarian cysts, their influence on clinical outcomes, and proper management in the context of assisted reproductive technology. The study found that there was no need to cancel cycles with functional ovarian cyst formation. Both conservative management and continued use of agonist treatment yielded similar pregnancy rates, but the conservative approach was recommended due to its lower cost and fewer side effects.
