Summary: This study investigated the effects of progesterone elevation on triggering day on the clinical pregnancy rate (CPR) of IVF/ICSI cycles in patients with different BMI. The results showed that women with higher BMI had lower progesterone levels on triggering day and a decreased CPR. Additionally, progesterone elevation on hCG day was associated with decreased CPRs regardless of women's BMI level.

Summary: This study demonstrates that the number of previous embryo implantation failures is an independent factor that affects the implantation rate, clinical pregnancy rate, spontaneous abortion rate, and live birth rate of patients undergoing IVF/ICSI-ET. As the number of previous embryo implantation failures increases, the implantation rate, clinical pregnancy rate, and live birth rate of IVF/ICSI-ET patients significantly decrease, while the rate of early spontaneous abortion gradually increases.

Summary: COVID-19 vaccination has potential effects on reproductive health in women undergoing assisted reproductive techniques. A study on 536 women undergoing IVF/ICSI treatment in China showed that COVID-19 vaccination may impair oocyte maturation, fertilization rate, and other reproductive outcomes. A systematic review of existing studies found that mRNA vaccines have no adverse effects on reproductive outcomes, while inactivated vaccines may affect oocyte maturation and fertilization rate.

Summary: The aim of this study was to determine whether the progesterone to number of mature oocytes index (PMOI) can predict pregnancy outcome in fresh IVF/ICSI cycles. The results showed that PMOI levels were significantly correlated with the probability of pregnancy outcome and could independently predict the occurrence of pregnancy. The optimal serum PMOI cutoff value for pregnancy outcome was found to be 0.063 ug/L.

Summary: Intrauterine injection of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) may have a promising effect on improving embryo implantation in IVF, especially in women undergoing cleavage-stage embryo transfer. However, caution should be exercised in interpreting these results due to the lack of data on live birth rate.

Summary: This study aimed to explore the association between serum AMH levels and early miscarriage rates after IVF/ICSI with fresh embryo transfer. The results showed that young women with high AMH levels had a higher risk of early miscarriage in their first IVF/ICSI treatment. Serum AMH levels might be a valuable marker to estimate the risk of early miscarriage.

Summary: The effects of assisted hatching (AH) on live birth rates are uncertain and may increase the risk of multiple pregnancies. Although AH may offer a slightly increased chance of achieving a clinical pregnancy, the quality of data is low, and it is uncertain whether it influences miscarriage rates.

Summary: Results from studies on the optimal stimulation duration of IVF-ICSI cycles are inconsistent. This study aimed to determine if prolonged ovarian stimulation, in the presence of early ovulation-triggering criteria, affects the chances of a live birth. The study found that delaying ovulation trigger did not impact pregnancy or live-birth rates in early responders.

Summary: For patients with a low number of oocytes but normal semen parameters, ICSI is not necessary as it does not improve fertilization, implantation, or live birth rates. IVF can be a feasible option for these patients.

Summary: This study compared the efficacy of G-CSF and HCG on pregnancy outcomes in RIF women undergoing ICSI treatment. The results showed that G-CSF had significant improvement in terms of implantation rate, chemical pregnancy, and clinical pregnancy compared to HCG.

Summary: This study aimed to determine the association between the time interval from insemination to vitrification and pregnancy rate. The findings suggest that the latest timing of vitrification is significantly associated with a higher pregnancy rate.

Summary: There was no support for a higher live birth rate after fresh IVF/ICSI when treatment was performed during the summer season. The study found significantly higher live birth rates in spring and autumn compared to summer, suggesting that season should not be taken into consideration when planning and performing fresh IVF/ICSI treatments.

Summary: This study investigated the effects of endometrial thickness on pregnancy outcomes in fresh IVF and ICSI cycles. The results showed significant associations between endometrial thickness and clinical pregnancy rate, live birth rate, and miscarriage rate. The study found that when the endometrial thickness was less than 12mm, the clinical pregnancy rate and live birth rate significantly increased with each millimeter increment of endometrial thickness. However, when the endometrial thickness ranged from 12-15mm, the pregnancy outcomes remained stable and were not significantly associated with endometrial thickness growth. Additionally, the miscarriage rate significantly declined with each millimeter increment of endometrial thickness, but did not change significantly when the endometrial thickness exceeded 12mm.

Summary: This study aimed to assess the impact of vitamin D levels on embryo quality and pregnancy outcomes in patients with normal ovarian reserve undergoing the first IVF/ICSI cycle. The findings suggest that serum vitamin D level is not associated with embryo quality and pregnancy outcomes for these patients. Further studies are needed to elucidate the relationships between vitamin D levels and IVF outcomes.
