Summary: This study compared the clinical, laboratory, ultrasound findings, and operative characteristics of rare site located ectopic pregnancies. Ovarian pregnancy was found to be the most challenging diagnosis compared to interstitial and tubal stump ectopic pregnancies. Prompt recognition and management of these gynecological emergencies are necessary.

Summary: Nontubal ectopic pregnancies occur when the embryo implants outside the uterine cavity and fallopian tubes. These pregnancies can occur in various sites, including the ovary, cervix, abdominal cavity, interstitial portion of the fallopian tube, and cesarean scar. Diagnosis of nontubal ectopic pregnancies is challenging due to nonspecific signs and symptoms, leading to delayed treatment and increased morbidity. Surgical management is the mainstay of treatment, but there is growing evidence supporting the use of medical or combined medical and surgical approaches for favorable outcomes.

Summary: Although cornual pregnancy is rare, it has a higher mortality rate compared to ectopic pregnancy overall. Laparoscopy offers a safer approach for its management, and the Vasopressin Injection Purse-String Ectopic Resection technique is an effective strategy in reducing blood loss and minimizing the risk of conversion to laparotomy.

Summary: The study suggests that serum protein calponin 2 (CNN2) may serve as a potential biomarker for tubal ectopic pregnancy, as it is highly expressed in these patients and shows diagnostic performance in discriminating between different pregnancy outcomes.

Summary: Ectopic pregnancy (EP) is the implantation of an embryo outside the endometrial cavity, often in the fallopian tube, and it is a significant cause of maternal morbidity and mortality. Current diagnostic methods can still misdiagnose EP in many cases. Management strategies may include expectant management, chemotherapeutic treatment with methotrexate, or surgical intervention. Nanomaterial-based technologies show promise in improving the diagnosis and treatment of EP by enhancing the delivery of diagnostic and therapeutic agents.

Summary: This study evaluated the relationship between the treatment modality of the second ectopic pregnancy and the occurrence rate of a third ectopic pregnancy in consecutive pregnancies. The results showed that expectant management of the second ectopic pregnancy had a significantly higher risk of a third ectopic pregnancy, and interventional approaches such as methotrexate or salpingectomy were preferred for recurrent ectopic pregnancy management, especially in cases of bilateral ectopic pregnancies.

Summary: Non-tubal ectopic pregnancies with abdominal hemorrhaging have significantly higher mortality and morbidity rates compared to tubal pregnancies. Prompt diagnosis and management through laparoscopic surgery are crucial for improving prognosis in cases of primary diaphragmatic ectopic pregnancy with hemorrhage.

Summary: This article presents a multidisciplinary approach for localizing and resecting suspected interstitial ectopic pregnancies. The approach includes ultrasound-based criteria and the use of minimally invasive modalities, intraoperative ultrasound, and other techniques for accurate assessment and surgical management. The multidisciplinary approach offers benefits in terms of early, accurate evaluation, and treatment, and helps reduce mortality.

Summary: Abdominal ectopic pregnancy is a rare and challenging condition to diagnose and manage, requiring a multidisciplinary team approach. Clinicians need to combine clinical presentation, imaging techniques, and serial hCG measurements for early diagnosis and treatment. Laparoscopic management should be considered in early cases.

Summary: This study reported a successful delivery of an adolescent with Bernard-Soulier syndrome (BSS) and reviewed the literature on BSS and pregnancy. The review found that BSS patients had poor maternal and neonatal outcomes. The optimal mode and timing of delivery remain unclear, and a multidisciplinary approach with prophylaxis at the peripartum period should be applied.

Summary: This study aimed to compare maternal and neonatal adverse outcomes among adolescent pregnancies in our country, finding that the 20 to 21-year-age group is similar to the adolescent age group in terms of adverse outcomes. It is suggested that the upper age limit for adolescent pregnancies may be 19 years old, as defined by the World Health Organization.
