Summary: BI-ALCL is a rare peripheral T cell lymphoma commonly presenting as delayed peri-implant effusion, requiring cytological examination, CD30 immunostaining, and T-cell clonality assessment for diagnosis. A Th2-type cytokine profile characterized by high levels of IL-10, IL-13, and Eotaxin distinguishes BI-ALCL from reactive seromas, with an IL10/IL-6 ratio cutoff of 0.104 showing high specificity and sensitivity in identifying BI-ALCL effusions. This study identifies potential biomarkers for early screening of late seromas to aid in prompt BI-ALCL diagnosis.

Summary: Homotaurine is a potential therapeutic compound for Alzheimer's disease (AD) and has anti-inflammatory properties. This study suggests that supplementation of homotaurine in patients with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) increases the levels of anti-inflammatory cytokines IL-10 and IL-33, while decreasing the levels of pro-inflammatory cytokine IL-18. The elevation of IL-10 and IL-33 is associated with improved episodic memory in treated patients.

Summary: Osteosarcoma is a common malignant bone tumor that mainly affects children and adolescents. Standard treatment includes surgery and chemotherapy, but the effectiveness is limited for metastatic or recurrent cases. This study investigates the efficacy of mifamurtide and identifies interleukin-10 as a possible target to improve its effectiveness. The synergistic use of mifamurtide and an anti-IL-10 antibody significantly increases cell death and reduces metastasis in a mouse model. The findings suggest that combining mifamurtide with an anti-IL-10 antibody may improve outcomes for osteosarcoma patients.

Summary: The study investigated the association between time-related eating patterns and daily calorie and macronutrient intake in Brazilian male military police officers. The findings showed that night shift workers had later eating times, longer eating durations, and later caloric midpoint than day workers. Late eaters consumed more energy, fat, and protein, but less carbohydrates, compared to early eaters. The time of the first and last meal was correlated with energy and macronutrient intake, with different patterns observed for day and night shift workers. Eating duration was positively correlated with energy and carbohydrate intake in both groups. Therefore, eating later at night was associated with increased daily energy and macronutrient intake.
