Summary: This study investigates the impact of the renewable power consumption guarantee mechanism on the power trading market and finds a positive net effect. Factors such as the power demand response of industrial users and the participation of power sales companies influence power trading activities. Improving inter-regional trading mechanisms for renewable power and considering the establishment of a national unified green power trading market are suggested for promoting the development of the power market.

Summary: GWAS in admixed populations demonstrate higher statistical power in discovery and more accurate cross-population polygenic score estimates compared to single-ancestry cohorts. Common variant associations are more likely to replicate if first discovered in admixed populations and then transferred to ancestral populations.

Summary: Expanding the South American renewable energy matrix is crucial for sustainable socio-economic development and mitigating climate change effects. This study estimated the changes in wind speed and wind power density in South America using eight global climate models. The findings suggest an increase in wind power density in regions such as Northeast and South Brazil, Argentine Patagonia, northern Venezuela, Uruguay, Bolivia, and Paraguay. However, there are uncertainties associated with the projections, highlighting the need for further research. This study provides valuable information for decision-makers in the energy sector in South America.

Summary: In this study, we discuss the idea and properties of difference operators, Delta(a)(p) and Delta((a))(p) (where alpha is a real number). We also describe the concepts of ordered statistical convergence and lacunary statistical convergence using the Delta(a)(p)-difference operator. Additionally, we examine the features of these sequence spaces and present some inclusion theorems. The Caputo fractional derivative is obtained in this work.

Summary: This study examined intra-individual variation in a strength testing protocol among male adolescent swimmers, finding that they require multiple attempts to achieve their best performance. The validity of shorter protocols may be compromised if athletes do not achieve their best result in the first few attempts, while a 5-repetition protocol showed acceptable reliability.

Summary: Learning effect refers to the phenomenon that the best performance is not achieved at the earliest trial of a repeated evaluation protocol. This study aimed to investigate the intra-individual variation in isokinetic strength testing among male adolescent swimmers, as well as determine the test-retest reliability. The results showed that a considerable percentage of participants required multiple repetitions to reach their best peak torque. For the subsample who completed a second testing session, the intra-individual mean differences in peak torque were minimal.

Summary: In the field of mediation analysis, Bayesian methods with informative priors can have different effects on statistical properties compared to frequentist methods, depending on sample size and the level of accuracy in the priors. It was found that the impact of inaccurate priors for loadings could be mitigated by reducing the informativeness of the prior, while this was not always the case for structural paths. The consequences of using informative priors varied depending on the inferential goals of the analysis, with inaccurate priors being more detrimental for accurately estimating the mediated effect.

Summary: In the field of psychology, while there is a lot of creative effort in proposing new constructs and developing measures, less attention has been paid to investigating overlap between constructs. This paper discusses the concept of extrinsic convergent validity and emphasizes the importance of using tests of dependent correlations to obtain validity evidence for construct overlap. Through examples, the paper demonstrates how extrinsic convergent validity evidence supplements other sources of evidence supporting construct overlap.

Summary: The paper examines the similarities and differences between causal mediation analysis and traditional mediation analysis in mediation models, highlighting that causal and traditional estimators provide similar indirect effect estimates but differ in direct and total effect estimates. Causal mediation analysis is preferred for unraveling causal mechanisms, while traditional mediation analysis can be used when conditional direct effect estimates are needed.

Summary: The precision of time metric has a significant impact on the estimation, interpretation, and accuracy of parameter estimates in bivariate latent change score models. Results show that using a coarse time metric can lead to biased parameter estimates, larger standard errors, and larger variances and covariances, particularly for unique coupling parameter estimates in BLCS models. Illustrative examples further highlight the importance of considering time metric precision in data analysis.

Summary: This paper describes a new randomization permutation test for a mediation mechanism for a single subject. The method requires random assignment to the levels of the treatment variable at each measurement occasion, and repeated measures of the mediator and outcome from one subject. A simulation study shows that the method has good statistical properties.
