Among 7 subjects with hyperemesis gravidarum (HG), we found gabapentin therapy to be associated with mean reductions in nausea and emesis from Baseline to Days 12-14 of 80% and 94%, respectively. There have been 2 congenital defects among 7 exposed infants. Gabapentin may be effective in the treatment of HG. (C) 2009 Elsevier Ireland Ltd. All rights reserved.
