Summary: This paper treats each iris region as a potential microstructure and proposes contextual measures (CM) to model the correlations between them. CM learns global and local contexts in iris images through two parallel branches. Experimental results demonstrate the importance of both global and local contexts for accurate iris recognition.

Summary: The sale of electric vehicles is driving a greater demand for electricity, requiring CO2-neutral production to make EVs a green alternative. Smart charging shifts the charging process to optimal times, while also considering external behavioral costs. The results of an online experiment indicate that behavioral interventions can influence the decision to choose smart charging when the costs are small to moderate.

Summary: This systematic review aims to investigate the measurement properties and clinical utility of measurement tools used in telerehabilitation for individuals with neurological diseases. The review will follow the PRISMA statement and utilize various databases for electronic searches. The methodological quality and clinical utility of the tools will be assessed using the COSMIN checklist and a clinical utility scale. The findings of this review will be valuable for healthcare professionals in selecting appropriate measurement tools and planning future research studies.

Summary: This paper characterizes and studies a type of monetary risk measures, called star-shaped risk measures, that possess positive superhomogeneity. These measures, which arise when the subadditivity property of coherent risk measures is disregarded and positive homogeneity is weakened, encompass all commonly used risk measures, including convex risk measures and value-at-risk. From a financial perspective, relaxing convexity is necessary to quantify the capital requirements for risk exposure in the presence of liquidity risk, competitive delegation, or robust aggregation mechanisms. From a decision-theoretical perspective, star-shaped risk measures emerge from variational preferences when risk mitigation strategies can be adopted by a rational decision maker.

Summary: Disease assessment in Behcet syndrome is challenging due to its heterogeneous disease course and involvement of multiple organs with varying treatment response. Recent improvements have been made in outcome measures, including the development of a Core Set of Domains and novel instruments for assessing specific organs and overall damage. This review focuses on the current state of outcome measures in Behcet syndrome, unmet needs, and a research agenda for the development of standardized and validated assessment tools.

Summary: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the reliability of the Powered Mobility Program (PMP) and the Israel Ministry of Health Powered Mobility Proficiency Test (PM-PT), as well as the Assessment of Learning Powered Mobility (ALP) tool, and to examine their validity for children with physical disabilities. The results showed good to excellent intra- and inter-rater reliability for both PMP and PM-PT, as well as good inter-rater reliability for ALP. The convergent validity between all three measures was also good to excellent.

Summary: The study explored the perspectives of mental health care professionals in Portugal who have experience with the use of coercive measures. Through focus group discussions with doctors and nurses from psychiatric departments in urban and rural regions, the study identified insufficient resources, staff-related factors, inefficient services, and socio-legal factors as the main influences on the use of coercion. Factors such as inadequate structures, staff shortages, restrictive ward rules, and the COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated the use of coercive measures.

Summary: Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROM) allow capturing patients' perspectives on their condition in the context of endometriosis care. Despite their extensive use in research and clinical trials, PROMs are rarely used in clinical practice. The development of digital tools can help facilitate the integration of PROMs into routine endometriosis care, improving patient-centered communication and quality of life.

Summary: This study examines determinants of adoption of energy-efficiency measures in small and medium-sized enterprises in the manufacturing sector. The findings suggest that economic incentives and energy-efficiency-related factors are key drivers, while limited financial resources serve as a major barrier to implementation.

Summary: This paper proposes a novel reinforced trajectory learning approach called GraphTUL, which utilizes an adversarial network with the policy gradient to improve identification ability and addresses the insufficient label issue in a semi-supervised manner. Additionally, a graph-based human motion representation model (CGE) is proposed to exploit contextual information and alleviate data sparsity and contextual constraint issues.

Summary: Over the past two decades, the theory of disruptive innovation has generated intense debates due to its theoretical value and practical relevance. This study reviews 62 articles to address the lack of integrated understanding of contextual factors that influence disruptive innovation. It presents a three-phase framework and highlights the impact of societal, cultural, and market contexts on the theory's implications.

Summary: There is a lack of culturally adapted tools for assessing depression and anxiety in children and adolescents in low- and middle-income countries. This study conducted a rapid cultural adaptation of three adolescent mental health scales through a qualitative approach. The findings highlighted the importance of considering cultural nuances and age differences when adapting assessment tools for depression and anxiety in adolescents.

Summary: This paper provides a descriptive enhancement of the leisure constraints model by studying constraints and facilitators experienced by travellers with mobility impairments. Four themes (psychology, people, place, payment) demonstrate the complexity of travel with mobility impairments, and the four P approach adds specific categories of constraints and facilitators to the scale-based focus of the model. This study contributes to knowledge by adding to previously identified constraints and facilitators and introducing a new way to categorize them.
