Summary: Modern households are digitized with Internet-connected devices, but this poses the risk of increasing cyber-attacks. This study investigates the factors that drive individuals to secure their home networks from cyber-attacks. Using rational choice theory and theory of planned behavior, the research model shows strong support for the relationships between cognitive and psychological factors and individual security intentions.

Summary: Building heating demand in Germany accounts for about a third of final energy consumption, emphasizing the importance of increasing energy efficiency and transitioning to renewable heating technologies. By coupling an urban energy system platform with a cost optimization model, a thorough understanding of building sector structures and heating systems is vital for accurate heat demand assessments. The study shows the significance of building geometries in modeling energy systems at a local scale, highlighting the heterogeneity in specific heating demand and optimal heating system choices among buildings of the same type.

Summary: The study demonstrates that moving animals from a recording chamber back to a familiar or clean cage triggers dopamine release, showing a similar effect to cocaine injection in the recording chamber. This suggests that returning to a home-like environment can result in DA release, indicating a rewarding stimulus. The findings provide insights into the reward circuitry and offer potential for studying anhedonic states and developing new treatments for mood disorders.

Summary: This study examined the relationship between state eviction defense policy and indicators of biopsychosocial stress among IPV survivors. The results showed that eviction defense policies were associated with reduced likelihood of reporting frequent headaches and safety concerns, especially among non-Hispanic Black survivors and male survivors. State housing policies are important protective measures for IPV survivors and may help alleviate psychological effects of IPV and housing instability.

Summary: This paper discusses the impact of trauma experiences, culture, and racism on older adults' ability to age in place. Age-related stressors may cause the reemergence of trauma memories and reactions, thus affecting the ability to live independently. The paper provides assessment, case examples, and best practice issues.

Summary: This study analyzes the trend of eldercare spaces as places of consumption, emphasizing the preference of designers in creating household-like and commercial-like atmospheres. Strategies to create home-like environments increasingly overlap with social spaces inspired by the hospitality industry. Our discussion demonstrates how these strategies materialize in structures and interiors increasingly open to the non-resident public and integrated into their surrounding communities.
