Summary: Coordination cages have gained significant attention due to their well-defined cavities and diverse potential applications. In this study, a new symmetrical tripodal oxazoline-based ligand was synthesized and used to form coordination cage compounds. A novel M3L2-type crystalline coordination cage complex was obtained through the reaction between the ligand and AgPF6, which exhibited three-dimensional supramolecular networks formed by noncovalent interactions. Furthermore, the obtained cage complex showed excellent catalytic performance in the cyclopropanation reaction.

Summary: In this study, four phenanthroline diamide ligands were synthesized and evaluated for the separation of U(VI) from Mo(VI) through extraction and stripping experiments under different conditions. The results showed that the solubility of the ligands and the separation effect of U(VI) over Mo(VI) increased with the growth of alkyl chain. The chemical stoichiometry of U(VI) complexes with ligands was determined as 1:1.

Summary: The first examination of Fecht's acid as a non-aromatic terephthalic acid isostere revealed the potential for greater steric bulk and control of interpenetration in MOFs. The structures of two new MOFs showed promising results in terms of pore chemistry and thermal stability, suggesting the use of non-aromatic backbones as a means to disfavor deleterious inter-framework contacts.

Summary: In this study, two molecular coordination compounds, terbium(III) oxide and europium(III) oxide, were synthesized through a reaction in water. The crystal structures of these compounds were determined using single-crystal X-ray diffraction, and their properties were further characterized using various techniques. The compounds exhibited strong photoluminescence attributed to the lanthanide ions. Furthermore, the synthesis of these compounds demonstrated the potential of hexacarboxylic acid H6L as a novel linker for coordination polymers.

Summary: The initial evaluation of MOF entanglements as their main limitation is changing to an opportunity since the related benefits are now known. Four divalent metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) with various entangled structures have been reported, all sharing a square net layer and further extending and interlocking in different ways based on the conformations and roles of flexible ligands and ligand-ligand or ligand-solvent interactions. The photoluminescence properties of the products were compared with those of free ligands and discussed.

Summary: In this study, MnCo2S4 nanosheet catalyst was successfully synthesized and found to exhibit superior performance in hydrogen evolution. Compared to MnCo2S4, MnCo2S4 showed low overpotentials, moderate Tafel slope, and excellent sustainability. The outstanding performance can be attributed to the increased number of electrochemically active sites and enhanced electronic conductivity on the catalyst surface.

Summary: Networks are important for describing relationships between people, roads between cities, reactions between chemicals, and other interactions. Bipartiteness, dividing the network into two groups, can facilitate the study of the network's structure. We have developed an algorithm that can find a near-optimal bipartisation within a reasonable time frame and used it to uncover the hidden structure of the CSD cocrystal network.
