Summary: This study investigated nurses' perceptions of their work environment and the relationships between variables measuring the work environment (WE) and nursing outcomes (NOs). The results showed that the higher the job position, the better the work environment was rated, and higher PES-NWI scores were associated with better outcomes in nursing.

Summary: The transition from day work to shift work is associated with dietary changes in Danish nurses, with an increase in consumption of fatty meat, sausages, and cream/whipped cream/butter, and a decrease in potato and vegetable intake. Employers should consider implementing health promotion activities and providing healthy eating options for nurses transitioning into shift work.

Summary: The study aimed to investigate the association between hand eczema (HE) and occupational and non-occupational wet exposure and work-related factors in the Dutch general population. The results showed that both occupational and non-occupational wet exposure were positively associated with HE in the past year. Positive associations were also found for high-risk and non-high-risk occupations, as well as higher levels of education. Therefore, preventive strategies for HE should focus on avoiding all exposure to wet activities, regardless of origin, and job tasks should be considered when counseling patients with hand eczema.

This study investigated and compared the agreement between patients' and dermatologists' assessments of chronic hand eczema severity. The study found that there was a low level of agreement between patients and dermatologists, with patients assessing their condition as more severe initially but less severe in follow-up.

Summary: This study explores the work motivation and occupational self-efficacy belief of ageing home care nurses. The findings suggest that multiple factors, including job meaningfulness, job satisfaction, social support, and work environmental and organizational characteristics, concurrently affect work motivation and self-efficacy belief. Factors such as perceived health, meaningfulness of work, support from colleagues and home care managers, and work characteristics have a significant impact on the self-efficacy belief to continue working until expected retirement age.
