Summary: The study found that the health-related quality of life of patients with chronic non-specific low back pain is influenced by factors such as disease duration, functional decline, and low back pain knowledge. Additionally, there is a positive correlation between general health status and low back pain knowledge.

Summary: This study investigated the effects of a Back School-based intervention on non-specific low back pain in adults. The results showed that the intervention had positive effects on pain, low back disability, physical components of quality of life, and kinesiophobia. However, it did not improve the participants' psychosocial components of quality of life. Healthcare professionals can consider implementing this program to help reduce the significant socio-economic impact of non-specific low back pain worldwide.

Summary: A study conducted in Mallorca, Spain, on 85 primary school teachers revealed a high lifetime prevalence (96.5%) of low back pain, with significant differences by sex. The teachers' knowledge about low back pain was found to be insufficient, hindering the effectiveness of health promotion programs aimed at preventing low back pain among schoolchildren.

Summary: This study examined the relationship between self-management and biopsychosocial factors in patients with chronic low back pain. The results showed that self-management constructs were predicted by physical activity, healthcare use, disability, depression, kinesiophobia, and catastrophising. Changes in self-management constructs were also predicted by changes in depression, kinesiophobia, catastrophising, and physical activity.

Summary: This study found that individuals with chronic low back pain in Jordan had relatively low levels of knowledge about their condition. Higher education and the use of painkillers were positively associated with knowledge about low back pain, while employment status and anxiety levels were negatively associated with knowledge. The level of knowledge about low back pain and its associated factors should be carefully monitored.

Summary: The objective of this study was to assess the internal consistency and concurrent validity of the Golf-specific Low Back Pain questionnaire (GLBP). The results showed that GLBP has good reliability and validity in quantifying LBP in golfers. The total score and each subscale of GLBP have a moderate inverse relationship with LBP-related disability. Therefore, GLBP can be used as a more suitable assessment tool for low back pain in golfers.

Summary: The aim of this study is to investigate the impact of low back pain on patients' physical, psychological, and social aspects of life from a qualitative perspective, particularly focusing on the relationship between low back pain and sexual life. The study also explores patients' opinions on the role of healthcare providers in addressing and treating low back pain-related sexual problems. The results suggest that sexual disability is perceived as severely limiting and correlated to pain by patients with low back pain.

Summary: This study aimed to demonstrate the therapeutic effect of combining soft-tissue mobilization (STM) with pain neuroscience education (PNE) for chronic nonspecific low back pain with central sensitization. The results showed that the group receiving STM plus PNE had significant improvement in pain intensity, central sensitization, pressure pain, pain cognition, and disability compared to the group receiving only STM.
