Summary: Comparing the clinical outcomes of extra-short implants inserted with one-stage versus two-stage technique in adjacent sites of the upper or lower jaw, this study found that both techniques had high implant survival and success rates, with no significant differences in other observed parameters.

Summary: This study evaluated the survival and success rates of dental implants with a double acid-etched surface treatment over a period of up to 10 years post-loading. The implants showed excellent success rates in terms of marginal bone loss, ISQ, and probing depth, with a 99.1% survival rate and 96.37% success rate. Future studies are needed to compare this implant surface with other types in different restorative situations.

Summary: This study retrospectively assessed the clinical and radiographic outcomes of immediately loaded full-arch fixed prostheses supported by axial and tilted implants for up to 15 years. The results showed a high survival rate for the implants, indicating that this technique is a viable treatment modality for immediate rehabilitation of both maxilla and mandible.

Summary: This study aimed to assess the influence of psoriasis on early-stage axial spondyloarthritis. The results showed that patients with psoriasis had distinct features of axial spondyloarthritis and increased spinal radiographic progression and low-grade radiographic sacroiliitis.

Summary: Restoring teeth with dental implants has become the gold standard in recent years, especially in the esthetic zone. Narrow diameter implants (NDI) may be a treatment option to resolve the limitations of limited available bone and interdental space in the anterior zone. This retrospective study compared the clinical and radiographic outcomes of one-piece and two-piece NDIs over a two-year follow-up period, showing comparable results in implant success, prosthetic failures, complications, peri-implant bone level changes, and Pink Esthetic Score.

Summary: The study compared the survival rate of 6 mm short dental implants with regular length implants when used in combination with bone grafting and loaded with a single crown after seven years. Short implants showed a significantly lower survival rate compared to regular implants (87% vs. 100%), but both groups achieved good clinical results in remaining implants. The research suggests considering short implants as an alternative to regular implants with sinus lift surgery.

Summary: The clinical behavior of single extra-short 4-mm implants placed in the posterior mandible was evaluated during a 3-year follow-up. The survival rate of implants was 100% without any biologic complications, while one prosthetic complication was observed.

Summary: This retrospective case series report evaluated the outcomes of oral rehabilitation using extra-sinus zygomatic implant surgery with a minimum follow-up of 7.5 years. The results showed that zygomatic implants can be considered a safe alternative for patients with severely atrophic maxillary bone, providing a successful and complication-free oral rehabilitation.

Summary: This study aimed to investigate the utilization of MRI examinations in patients with hearing implants, revealing that only 12.8% of patients underwent MRI after implantation, with common side effects including pain, anxiety, and tinnitus. Patients need better education on the limitations and requirements of MRI, particularly regarding the potential complication of magnet dislocation in implants.

Summary: The aim of this study was to evaluate and compare the marginal bone loss between two different categories of implants that have the same diameter and belong to the Torque Type (TT) line, one in the internal hexagon version and the other in the external hexagon configuration. The results showed that internally connected implants had less marginal bone resorption compared to externally connected implants.

Summary: This study aims to evaluate the clinical outcomes of implants supporting mandibular overdentures in edentulous patients. After two-stage surgery, implants were early loaded with an overdenture at 6 weeks. The clinical follow-up of the study showed a global success rate of 94.5% for the implants.

Summary: This clinical study compared implant survival rates, marginal bone loss, and surgical and prosthetic complications between healthy patients and subjects affected by hypertension receiving full-arch implant-prosthetic rehabilitation. No statistically significant difference was found in these parameters between the two groups. Full-arch implant-prosthetic rehabilitation could be a feasible option for patients with hypertension, provided that hypertension is compensated and controlled.

Summary: This study investigates the influence of dental implant length and diameter on resonance frequency analysis (RFA), insertion torque (IT), and displacement (DP) measurements. The results show that implant length, diameter, and block density are significant predictors of the measured parameters. Implant length has a stronger effect on stability than implant diameter.
