Summary: This study investigated the effects of tungsten trioxide (WO3) nanoparticles on the viscosity of ethylene glycol (EG). The non-Newtonian behavior of WO3/EG nanofluid was observed, with temperature influencing the nanoparticles' efficacy on viscosity. The addition of WO3 intensified the EG viscosity up to 229%, and sonication duration affected the nanoparticles distribution and viscosity. Additionally, the implementation of artificial neural networks and response surface methodologies proved successful with low maximum error rates.

Summary: This study evaluated the use of two different aspect ratios (158 and 600) of multi-wall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) as nanofillers to improve the electrical, electromagnetic, and mechanical properties of polycarbonate (PC) melt mixed nanocomposites. The MWCNTs with a smaller aspect ratio showed better dispersion and improved electrical and electromagnetic properties in the PC matrix. A content of 2.0 wt% was found to be the optimum for both types of MWCNTs, resulting in an AC electrical conductivity greater than 10(-4) S/cm and higher EMI SE values of 14 dB for the smaller aspect ratio MWCNT and 11 dB for the larger aspect ratio MWCNT.

Summary: This study tested a five-cell reversible solid oxide cell short stack and conducted cyclic durability testing. The results showed that the voltage degradation rate and fuel/steam utilization of the rSOC varied in different modes, and the post-cycle steady-state degradation rate indicated an improved lifetime.

Summary: The use of environment-friendly carbonaceous fuels in solid oxide fuel cells as an alternative to high-purity hydrogen has emerged as a promising option. This study analyzes the impact of carbon monoxide on the electrochemical processes at the anode interfaces. It is found that carbon monoxide influences the charge transfer processes due to its promotion of reactions and direct electrooxidation.

Summary: This article investigates the influence of non-Fourier heat flux on non-Newtonian Sakiadis convective flow from a moving permeable surface. The Cattaneo-Christov model is used, and the flow problem is modeled in a Cartesian coordinate system. The effects of key parameters on the flow are analyzed, and the results show that velocity increases with an increase in the first Eyring-Powell parameter for the Sakiadis case. The damping effect of the boundary-layer flow is observed for both Sakiadis and Blasius scenarios.
