Dendritic architectures provide attractive scaffolds for the precise arrangement of considerable numbers of antenna chromophores. Multichromophoric antennas are advantageous for obtaining intense absorption over the entire visible light spectrum. The strategic arrangement of various antenna claromophores produces the lowest excitation energy gradient for efficient energy transfer. Large light-harvesting systems can be constructed by the proper arrangement of the antennas.
