Summary: This study investigates the use of Arachidic acid as a phase change material, with modifications using chemical salts to alter its thermal characteristics. The results demonstrate that Arachidic acid mixed with 10 mol% sodium decanoate exhibited the highest melting point depreciation while maintaining a high latent heat of fusion, showing potential for application in electronic devices.

Summary: This study explores the understanding of physical literacy among pre-service teachers and whether they need more support in their teacher preparation program. The findings indicate that pre-service teachers have some awareness of physical literacy but require additional support to authentically incorporate it into their practice.

Summary: Virtual simulation has been used in pedagogy, but there is less evidence on the use of physical and/or mixed-reality simulation in teacher training. This systematic scoping review analyzed the literature on the use of physical and/or mixed-reality simulation in pre-service teacher training and found that simulation could enhance teacher confidence, self-efficacy, classroom management skills, and communication.

Summary: Single-phase CaxSr1-xCO3 solid solutions with an aragonite structure and x = 0-1 were obtained by precipitation synthesis and characterized with respect to their structural, physical, and thermodynamic properties. Both experimental and DFT pressure-dependent data show an anomalous pressure-induced elongation of the b-axis around 20-30 GPa, depending on composition, but no structural pressure-induced phase transition until 40 GPa, the highest pressure investigated here. The analysis confirms that there is no ordering of the Ca and Sr atoms in the solid solutions.

Summary: In this study, five component colloidal solutions were developed, consisting of 50 % V of 0.2 M salt solutions (NaCl, AgNO3, AlCl3-3H2O, and CuSO4), 50 % V Graphene Nano powder, plain Graphene/Ethylene Glycol, plain Graphene/Poly-Ethylene Glycol, plain Graphene/Glycerol, and plain Graphene/Polyethylene Glycerol. These laboratory-produced colloidal solutions were thoroughly studied using methods such as Electrochemical Impedance Characterization (EIS) to analyze solution conductivity, viscosity and flexibility measurements of fluidic solutions, and particle size distribution analysis. A comparison of the physical characteristics of the five solutions was conducted to select the most suitable fluid for future bio sensing antenna devices, ensuring compatibility and non-toxicity.

Summary: This work investigates the ultrasound absorption in aqueous solutions of 1-and 2-propanols near their peculiar points. The anomalous ultrasound absorption is believed to be caused by the formation of unstable nuclei of a new phase. A theoretical model for the ultrasound absorption by a nucleus is constructed, and the characteristic size and time decay of the nucleus' radial vibrations are estimated. The behavior of the ultrasound absorption coefficient is analyzed at resonance frequencies and ones removed from them.

Summary: This study identifies a high level of collaboration, in-service training, and teaching resource proficiency among Chemistry teachers in Riau, Indonesia. Male teachers demonstrate higher proficiency levels compared to their female counterparts, with significant differences in teacher resource competency based on gender. Collaboration plays a significant role in Chemistry teachers' involvement in training and teaching resources.

Summary: This study aimed to provide further evidence of reliability and validity for Preservice Physical Education Teacher's Teacher Identity Scale (PPET-TI scale). The modified scale consisted of three domains: value and expectation, perceived confidence of teaching PE, and professional growth. The scale was tested on 944 physical education student teachers in China and showed good reliability and validity.

Summary: This study investigates the physical-thermal properties of nanofluids made from graphene powder, propylene glycol, and water. Different ratios of propylene glycol and water were mixed to form nanofluids, and graphene was added at different concentrations. The study examines the viscosity, density, thermal conductivity, and specific heat of the nanofluids. The results show that the addition of graphene nanopowder increases the density and thermal conductivity of the nanofluids, while viscosity and specific heat decrease with increasing temperature.

Summary: The densification of wood through delignification processes resulted in cell collapse and micro-cracks near the wood surface, enhancing hydrogen bonding among fibers. Increasing alkali dosage led to decreased set recovery, while considerable compressive deformation fixation was achieved through post-densification hydrothermal treatment at 180 degrees Celsius. The results suggest that delignified densified wood can be easily manufactured and exhibits great potential as a sustainable material.
