The reversible LiBH4/Mg2NiH4 combined hydride system for hydrogen storage displays a concerted dehydrogenation reaction beginning at 250 degrees C with significantly low enthalpy (Delta H = 15.4 +/- 2 kJ mol(-1) H-2) and entropy (Delta S = 62.2 +/- 3 J K-1 mol(-1) H-2).
