Summary: This study aimed to assess the impact of microencapsulated probiotic bacteria and Boswellia serrata resin on metabolic disorders associated with Metabolic syndrome (MeS). The results showed that the combination of probiotic bacteria and BS can control most of the parameters related to MeS and improve organ histopathology findings.

Summary: This study analyzed the 12-week baseline data of the ICON trial and found that weekly and instantaneous recording of attack frequency are similar. The frequency of attacks is highest in spring, and patients with 3 or more daily attacks have less variability in attack frequency. The study suggests that weekly retrospective recording is as good as instantaneous recording and more convenient.

Summary: This study characterized therapies for preventing and acutely treating cluster headache, assessed trial methodology, and evaluated the feasibility of future network meta-analyses. While a NMA for acute therapy appears feasible, it may be challenging for preventive therapy due to differences in treatment effects. New studies on various treatments were identified, highlighting the need to consider individual effectiveness in cluster headache prevention.

Summary: Although chronic sinusitis is common in adults, current treatments have limitations. Traditional therapy with steroids and antibiotics has risks and benefits, while new drugs like monoclonal antibodies are effective but expensive. Natural molecules offer a potentially cost-effective treatment option. A case-control study found that an oral supplement containing Ribes nigrum, Boswellia serrata, Bromelain, and Vitamin D improved symptoms in patients with chronic sinusitis. These preliminary findings suggest that this supplement could be a supportive therapy for reducing nasal inflammation in these patients.

Summary: This article presents the common types of headaches and the effects of botulinum toxin in their treatment. Tension-type headache and migraine are the most common types of headaches, and botulinum toxin has shown significant benefits in treating chronic headaches. However, there is still a lack of evidence for its use in other types of headaches.
