Summary: This study evaluates the optimization of waste heat recovery (WHR) systems by analyzing three power cycle variants: simple ORC, RORC, and TLC. The Analytical Hierarchical Process (AHP) is used to guide decision-making, considering multiple criteria. RORC outperforms other alternatives in terms of power generation, emission reductions, and net present value. However, the optimal choice depends on operating conditions and selected working fluid. This study highlights the importance of multicriteria evaluation and the use of decision-making tools for selecting the best alternative based on plant-specific needs.

Summary: As online shopping becomes increasingly popular, consumers have access to rich product descriptions and abundant review information. In the context of limited attributes, we propose a data-driven analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to help consumers make online multi-attribute decision-making. This process includes attribute extraction, calculation, weight learning, preference revision, and product ranking.

Summary: This paper investigates the integration of intuitionistic fuzzy (IF) sets and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to maximize advantages. Quantitative differences between AHP weights and normalized defuzzified IF-AHP weights are illustrated, revealing qualitative and quantitative disparities between AHP and IF-AHP. The study identifies conditions and strategies for utilizing IF-AHP over AHP, with data experiments and case studies for validation.

Summary: This paper introduces a method to handle trusted weights and control the spread of fuzzy weights in fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP). A novel model based on mathematical programming is proposed to determine rational fuzzy weights of the FAHP, and a parameter is provided for decision-makers to control the spread of fuzzy weights. Three examples are used to validate and justify the proposed method.

Summary: Industry 4.0, also known as the Fourth Industrial Revolution, has the potential to revolutionize industries by developing a fully automated and digitally integrated production system. However, implementing this transformation requires significant resources and may face challenges in adapting existing technology. Researchers propose integrating the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) with q-spherical fuzzy rough sets to prioritize Industry 4.0 projects. A novel framework combining AHP and q-spherical fuzzy rough sets is presented in this article, which produces robust and competitive results compared to other multi-criteria decision-making approaches.

Summary: The Philippines has abundant mineral resources, but mining operations have a negative impact on the environment, such as acid mine drainage (AMD). This study proposes a novel multi-criteria decision analysis tool, spherical fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (SFAHP), to select the best technology for treating AMD. Among the evaluated treatment options, the combination of two-step neutralization ferrite formation and sulfidogenic bioreactor (TSNFF + SB) was found to be the most sustainable.
